What i am planning to try:

Using alpha owl for 6 aura (not 5) with the program, if i run 2x60%+ 4x 40% with all the passive skill tree reduction from op and alpha owl it is doable, but i will keep around 12 mana (will see if it is enough to cull with lvl 1 arc). For specters it is ok, you have to raise only one time and keep them forever :), for zombies, just put off 2 auras, rez zombies and put on auras again.

The great question is: If i am playing with 20/20 minion life + 20/20 raise zombie + lvl 3 empower + 20/20 minion damage or minion resist, zombies will still die often or not ?

With this idea, if i am able to run those 6 auras, i will put away saffell's frame and switch with maybe lioneye's remorse.

What about it ? Am i totaly stupid ? Or it is doable ?

Alpha Howl is only 4 sockets, one of them will be Reduced Mana, then only 3 left, those, you'll have 3 gems (in helm) with 49% mana reduction any other - 41% only, so:
gems with AH:
2x round_up(60% * 0.71 * 0.51) + round_up(40% * 0.71 * 0.51) = 44% + 15% = 59%
gems without AH:
round_up(40% * 0.71 * 0.59) = 17%
after AH, you have only 41% of mana, means another 2*40 gems (without AH) = 34%, so, only 100-59-34=7% mana left.

even if you take 46% from passives:

100 - 2x round_up(60% * 0.71 * 0.46) - round_up(40% * 0.71 * 0.46) - 3x round_up(40% * 0.71 * 0.54)
100 - 2x20 - 14 - 3*16 = -2% mana left, so you lack 2% of mana to run all auras you want (unless you link one of them to BM :))
Hey Sam, love your stream and the guide. I would like to run this build on Nemesis and join your guild, but I don't have enough free time to start on a new league. So I bought almost all the gear you have on standard!

Only thing I'm missing is MF Flask (Distillate) and a 6L chest. Should I purchase a RRBBB 5L item or Tabula Rasa? It will be awhile until I can afford a 6L chest, hopefully will find one later :]
Hi, I'm currently following your guide and at level 52, farming at the Docks. You run Arc and Cold Snap because both elements will cause an Elemental Equilibrium stacking debuff to enemies, allowing your fire damage minions to do max damage. I understand this concept. However, I was wondering if this mechanic still works if I replaced Arc and Cold Snap with a Lightning/Cold elemental damage weapon being cast with Spectral Throw + Blood Magic + LMP? Because if this works, then it would do the double EE debuff faster than having to cast two separate skills. It would also hit any number of enemies, whereas Arc can only chain twice, and the Cold Snap AOE is smaller than the cone that Spectral Throw LMP offers.

Any idea whether or not this is a viable quality-of-life improvement?
You can't receive double effect of EE; When a new elemental source hits the target, the old EE effect is being replaced. But yes, if your Spectral Throw deals Cold damage, it should trigger EE.

http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Elemental_Equilibrium

"Multiple EE strikes will overwrite each other. The effect lasts 5 seconds or until being overwritten.

If you hit an enemy with two different elements at the same time it will give -50% Resistance to third element and +25% to both elements used. A hit carrying all three elements types will give +25% to all elemental Resistances.

Totem skills proc EE as they are treated as your hits. Minion's hits do not count as yours so do not proc EE."

@alt0172
it's still pretty accurate, nice one :)

@nyash
always correct

@nv314961
getting a 6L is not necessary, my spectres are 5linked (for now), still leveling my Empower

@Alkalyde
in theory EE _COULD_ double debuff from separate sources, but i still need to get a comfirmation from an official source on that, for now, let's settle with Arc for culling and debuffing, Cold snap for group debuffing, you can not double debuff from one source, that is absolutely 100% right.

EE CANNOT double debuff. Just hit a ledge skeleton with Arc then Cold Snap and you can see it become cold resistant, if you do it in reverse order it will be lightning resistant.

So casting Arc, Cold Snap = -100% flame resist, for sure? And it will stack with Flammability?

Edit: Wait, I'm confused.

When you cast Arc, EE is triggered and target gets +25% lightning res, -50% cold res, -50% fire res. 5 sec countdown for that EE effect is started.
Just after that you cast Cold Snap: EE is triggered again, EE effects on target are replaced with +25% cold res, -50% fire res, -50% lightning res, 5 sec countdown is restarted.

Cold Snap is only used to slow down/freez targets, not to obtain -100% res.

EE stacks with flammability, they are different things

Enjoyed watching your stream totally get the leveling build nice work. Just one question what shield are you using now as the one on your stream is not the same as your guide. I would ask on stream but watching on my phone.
