Assuming you guys run purity with the passives + minion resist support gem + saffell's frame aegis'd, my best (and only) guess would be, that your gems aren't leveled enough.

Piety's ice form / lightning storms are the hardest hitting elemental attacks in non-map content, and my zombies / miscreations survive them without much trouble.

Carrion queens are reportedly buggy every now and then, i can't comment on that topic, since i exclusively farm Piety.

Is Saffell's Frame still a required item? If it's just used for the resists then I feel like a good resist rare would be better, no?

Main thing is that Saffells gives minions +5% MAX res (total 80%), which reduce incoming ele damage by 25% compared to 75% all res. It A LOT!
Then Saffells give +20-30% increased spell damage, burning miscreations loves it
Then it gives 26% chance to just block any spell.

Hey guys, just transitioned to the summoner at level 53. It's a bit rough without Saffell's/Aegis combo and several appropriate-leveled gems, but it's a blast. I have encountered the inconsistencies with the Burning Miscreation's aura going off, but I have also found a solution.

Essentially, the Miscreations either standby, follow you, or melee. After some testing, here are the steps I take to get my Miscreations to activate their auras (~90% success rate):

1.) Engage a group of enemies
2.) Observe when one or both of your Miscreations are meleeing an enemy.
3.) Run away from your minions and the enemies. The Miscreations will soon follow you.
4.) Once they are following you, stop. The Miscreations should also stop and cast their aura.

It was tough to notice this, especially if you're the type of player whom curses and stays behind your enemies.
I am rushing from Severs to Solaris with a friends.
And mercelles BM not dying at all. And i have no Suffel.

So, cruel BM just to low level for act 3 mercelles. =(

Have anyone tried making killer zombies with the 6l white t-shirt chest? Was thinking of putting spectres in helmet and drop the minion res gem. Zombies deal hardly any damage compared to them, but you could do sick dps setups like zombie - multistrike - meleesplash - fasrer attacks - added fire - more melee/blood magic?
