Like that, that's why i am talking about lvl 90+ to make it run. With this skill tree i have around 50% less mana reserved. With your program, if i run 500 mana, with 50% less mana reserved and lvl 20 reduced mana gem, i am able to run 2x60% aura et 4x40% aura, leaving me with 10 mana left. Unless I fail at math, all you achieve is 5% additional mana reduction on auras, which wont make a difference (going from 41 in the original spec to 46)

the difference between 41% and 46% - is one aura. even with lvl 20 reduced mana you can only afford 4 auras: (2x60% + 3x40%) * 0.71 (gem) * 0.59 (passives) = 101% of your mana. with 46% mana reservation you can actually do 1 more aura, but spending 8 points to get it is an overkill imo.
there is as an option to use Alpha Howl: - it will allow you to use 5 auras - it will boost your auras even more with +2 lvl - zombiez can be moved to Matua Tupuna ( zombie + minion life + empower to get more life, or zombie + empower + enhance to get more speed) and your auras will be buffed even more - then, with all your bonuses, purity of X auras will give you +5-6 to maximum resistance, which is the same as Saffell's Frame (through summons will have no block) - aand you save 1 SP on necro aegis :D - aaaaand you can't raise zombie: only 7-9% of your total mana and no BM gem but Alpha Howl is quite expensive... " What i am planning to try: Using alpha owl for 6 aura (not 5) with the program, if i run 2x60%+ 4x 40% with all the passive skill tree reduction from op and alpha owl it is doable, but i will keep around 12 mana (will see if it is enough to cull with lvl 1 arc). For specters it is ok, you have to raise only one time and keep them forever :), for zombies, just put off 2 auras, rez zombies and put on auras again. The great question is: If i am playing with 20/20 minion life + 20/20 raise zombie + lvl 3 empower + 20/20 minion damage or minion resist, zombies will still die often or not ? With this idea, if i am able to run those 6 auras, i will put away saffell's frame and switch with maybe lioneye's remorse. What about it ? Am i totaly stupid ? Or it is doable ? |

If you are interested in aura reservation calculations, you may check my calculator (updated it for new patch now but didn't tested a lot)
note: first slide in "help" isn't accurate - you should type in "RMR mult" field (one of fields with blue border) not "mana reduced reservation" but 100 - "mana reduced reservation" (with alpha howl example: not 8, but 92 or 0.92) BTW, elemental equilibrium doesn't "stack" according this information, so hitting with arc after cold snap will not lower fire resistance more Last edited by alt0172#5861 on Nov 18, 2013, 4:49:07 PM

Ah right, I keep forgetting that Vitality is now 40% mana reserve, so yes indeed those 8 points will grant you an additional 40% aura. We're talking super endgame for this to work, though, and the question is if an additional 40% aura will truly matter.
Grace (60%) Determination (60%) Vitality (40%) Purity (40%) And then a chosen resistance of choice depending on map/area to boost their max res furthermore? |
