Until I get US, I plan on using Blind in my 5L for the added evasion. At 10 casts/s * 5 projectiles and pierce, the blind gets applied instantly.

And Cybil's Paw is an exceptionally cheap item that you can viably use forever while also letting you completely cheese facetank almost everything in the game from lvl 37 to high 60s at least. I'm 68 on my Incinerator and still don't use a Life Leech gem and have no problems face tanking in A3M. Of course, I'll need LL eventually, but I've gotten an insane amount of use/survivability out of a 5 chaos investment at lvl 37.

Let's compare

Wand:
80+% spell damage
12+% faster casting


Cybil's Paw:
6 * (75/5) = 6*15 = 90 spell damage
12% faster casting


Hard choice, isn't it?


Also, don't forget about spelldamage from passives (+48%) and rathpith globe - they'll make increase in total damage output lesser than simple "spell damage increase on wand"

I found that if you have a 6L chest you can use life leech and replace Cybil's Paw with a wand. The wand I'm using only gives about 90 DPS increase though.

The thing is that life gained from Cybil isn't really needed if you already have max block and decent hp. Life leech from the gem is enough. It should work even better when I get a 20% life leech gem.

I managed to get my DPS up to 1820 by switching GMP for LMP and swap Cybil for a wand. Clearing speed is noticeably faster but the ramp up time for incinerate really puts a damper on things.
