I can't imagine what kind of damage issues you're having. I'm not sure how different Domination is over Nemesis, but at lvl 53, I was absolutely fine with terrible gear, links, and playing like a retard. You're much better geared than I was.

I didn't have EK on Multiple Traps.
I didn't have Cold Snap on a Trap with Elemental Proliferation.
I was triple cursing everything (Temporal Chains -> Flammability -> Projectile Weakness), so only the last curse actually applied LOL.

All I had were the Fire Trap links, so I was always turning around to sit there and spam a few EKs, didn't use Cold Snap at all. I thought the build was fine then, but after I set up the links like you have them, it became OP.

Actually there's something. Try using a damage curse. I like Flammability or Elemental Weakness. It should help a lot after you level up the gem.

But yeah, I'm lvl 70 now, my gear is still mediocre, but I couldn't be happier with the damage this build provides. Also, I can still yolo into everything. :P

What are your thoughts on the shock nova trap? I've been wanting to play all 3 ele traps, but lightning trap seems to become lackluster once I get into late Cruel.

Shock Nova trap is absolute garbage. Shock Nova has a deadzone which is a small AoE around where it is cast(for example, self casting it, you can't be standing on top of the mobs). With a trap, you have to hit the target to proc the trap. If you hit the target with the trap, that means the target is in the deadzonee, which means it will do absolutely zero damage to the target you hit the trap with. Lightning Trap isn't very strong in late Cruel and Merciless... That's when I swapped it out and started the end game stuff. It's viable later on with the correct passives and the ability to shock stack.

why dont you level the gem then? or is it lvled?

I can't imagine arc trap being good at all :/ Arc is considered one of the most weak spells in the game(outside of culling with rarity) and is probably getting buffed at some point soon.

Try Lightning Warp - Trap - Multiple Traps - Elemental prolif/Lightning penetration

Its fucking hilarious and as far as i tested the dmg can be considered "well".

Just started Merciless and struggling for survivability now. Mana regen good. Life regen bad. I'm on ~1300 life, and it goes pretty quickly, especially after the -60% to resists.

MoM is just not enough to "tank" from, and IR is not giving enough mitigation off my gear. Is the only solution "buy more life nodes"?

Well this is Nemesis advice, but I would have at the minimum 2k HP, 50% physical damage reduction from armor, and be resist capped. It's not too difficult to push 2.5-3k HP and 60% armor if you farm a bit. People usually do Ledge til around 60 and then move on to Fellshrine.
