(Nov 4) Three-hour Party Hardcore Ladder Race

a solo and team race at the same time would be great, but I don't think there is enough competition to justify that atm :(

When 3rd place in a class isn't like Lv10 or some crazy small number in some of these races, maybe then.

For example, the last solo 3 hour turbo race, top 7 shadows was level 26, 24, 15, 12, 11, 4, 3. Then there was 4 level one shadows. That could just be that shadows die in turbo solo races, but still, only 2 even in the 20s. Maybe this race we will get more that levels up and survives, but well see. I wonder if the Lv11 who got 5th in class bonus was surprised at all, lol. Imagine if one of the top 5 died and it was the level 4 O.o (to top that off, imagine if there was a solo and party race at that same time, splitting it into 2 groups)

When open beta comes out with more players playing I hope they have the party/solo rewards in the same race rather than separate so everyone can enjoy each race whatever way they want.

If you trade another player / join a party even for a second then you are only eligible for party race rewards. If you don't then you are only eligible for the solo rewards.

I don't see why they wouldn't do that other than not enough people racing... For now even though I may whine a bit about party races I am ok with them lol :/

Just wondering, but I can solo in the party ladder race if I want, right? It's not a requirement?

Yes you can solo if you want, sometimes someone soloing even wins highest in there class.

That both party and solo race in one is interesting, but I imagine that would take a huge amount of time to make, develop, deploy, and such.

Not really, all it would require is a flag to be set on the character once it joins a party that takes it out of the solo race and into the party. Very good idea Powster.
