1.1 Updated [HC/Inv] EB/MoM/AA SuperTank Spectral Throw (Works with Mjölner!!Tested!)

This build seems to require a lot of levels. I'm not quite sure how you have it up and running at level 75 unless you skip a bunch of stuff at the bottom. Its looking like you need level 80+ at least. I'm currently level 60 and have 24 passives to go to finish out the mana pool/regen stuff, EB and MoM.

I'm lvl 70 and already have all mana/regen nodes from the build (only life nodes to go) and still can't keep up my mana pool because it's constantly being depleted by MoM. I find myself running into groups of mobs all the time because I don't have enough mana for ST to work. Adding AA to that is completely out of the question.
The guide seems to imply there are no gear requirements but I just don't see it working without good ES gear to build a very high mana pool..

I don't understand why you don't go for the node, Mana Geyser. Is it not worth the 5 points to go to it?

The guide says it doesn't require any special unique items to work (like an Alpha's Howl), but could definitely benefit from some. I doubt there are any builds late game with no gear requirements. This build has gear requirements for sure, it just doesn't have item requirements. There is a section in the guide for late game gear and does mention EV/ES or AR/ES gear with life + res is the way to go. The QA section also mentions some of this.

I wouldn't take MoM without a significant mana pool especially if you're running auras and AA. I can run Haste + Elements no problem and never run out of mana. I add AA in and I can run it standing still, but it depletes too fast while moving. I'm working on adding clarity in and I don't see AA viable (at least for me) for at least 10 more levels (so around level 80).

I'm currently running docks and there's really nothing there that is dangerous at the moment. The voidbearers were killing me, but I just added in several resist passives for now and run purity of elements. That's what I like most about this build is it doesn't trap me into one path.

If you can run easily without MoM, it might be worth refunding it for now until your mana pool can handle it.

Speccing into MoM and EB later in the game was the key for me. I played it as a life based build until around level 80. I still picked up the mana nodes but I focused on mana regen from clarity and gear to be sure I could run AA and two auras without any issues. I kept AA low level, being sure my regen could sustain it. If you can get gear with EV/ES or AR/ES throughout leveling, you may be able to go MoM/EB sooner than I did. I just used Armor and Evasion until I had a good pool of ES to convert to mana. I have about 3400 life and 2300 mana at this point and it works really well for tanking pretty much everything.

I get what you're saying, and indeed there are late game gear tips but those seem to be optional. As in "use these to get even better results". Which isn't true because I don't have them and it's totally not working out :)
And in my eyes EB/MoM is what makes this build an actual "build". That's what gives the survivability, so take that out and it's just plain ST. No survivability, no heavy dmg, nothing really.. The description might as well be "use ST and get life nodes". I don't mean to say it's bad, but for me personally completely boring because it has nothing special going on if you leave out the 2 key elements. That's how I'm experiencing it right now so I heavily regret wasting my full respec on this.

there is no use this and get better results... i specifically say for high lvl get this "EV/ES or AR/ES with lots of life and res. Also the ev/es or ar/es rolls need to be high as possible. And the highest phys damage 2h you can buy/find/craft"

if that isnt a CLEAR indication that u need this type of gear for high lvl then i dont know what is.

as for issues with the build. it can be rough getting everything working properly. you HAVE to have the right gear and a good amount of es. slap on a high lvl disc and clarity aura and u will have enough mana regen. my last nem char that was this build had 230 mana regen per second and nothing did enough damage to take all my mana in one hit.. maybe multiple huge fast hits but thats what a seething mana pot is for.

lvl 80 you will have a much easier time, but it can be done at 75 i did it last league. as for aa while moving....that is a plus if you can maintain it, i like to maintain it so i gear accordingly to make it happen.

Trying out your build and I'm in sort of a shitty spot so far, I don't have enough mana regen to keep AA on and I'm having to miss out on a bunch of life and EV nodes to get over to Soul Drinker and Eldritch Battery. Not just that but my mana pool is really hurting too so I can only really run clarity on its own. Very frustrating. This hopefull fixes itself once I've got soul drinker and can start taking the mana/life nodes. Maybe even once I've got more levels on Reduced Mana.

edit: so I got the 2% leech in the tree and the first life/mana node. Taking first steps into 66 maps my clear speed is really bad, is that just because of my weapon or because I'm not using a rustic sash and ias gloves?

your gear is nice, but you need to get some big es in there to use eb. es on something and a nice weapon are the only real requirements of this build, and are easy to come by.

is viable with duelist, this build?

probably, but you would just sac 2 nodes somewhere and the mele dmg start nodes only will apply to your double strike.

Looks pretty close to the original Scion one; maybe a bit less life. My preference is to sacrifice some life for +defense and +dps so I might go for something like:
