Iggy's Spectral Throw Build! Combines the best of ALL worlds. [SC/HC]

Also I am wondering if anyone is using any curses or any auras?
Thank you so much for this guide! :D
I'm running a spec throw scion and I'm wondering how your going to power that thing? Like, where is your mana going to comefrom. I see you didn't take blood magic. With just a 4 L spec throw is causing me mana shortage problems. Help me see what I'm missing here. Thanks!

you aren't high enough level i'm assuming to care yet. i'm doing just fine spamming ST with 400 mana and some pots.
Also, I've revised the build a little bit. I now am rethinking MoM completely, but have gone ahead and grabbed the two duelist mana nodes. I've also gone for the 2% life leech node, and contemplating the 30% fire node above it. Different pathing to IR now without MoM, gives a little more armor. Next revision will be after a lot of RT testing.

See my posts on pages 7 and 8 of this thread. Final builds are nice and all, and a lot of people in this thread have fine ones, but no one other than me has addressed the Dex and Mana requirements to get off the ground.

If you ultimately aren't going to use auras or find you don't need mana, spec out of the right-branch I showed on page 8.

Currently I'm level 43 with crappy gear, though since beating Dom at around level 40 I've gotten weapon and boot upgrade.

My current tree, which as you will see is what I outlined on pages 7 and 8.

My current crap gear:

Spoiler

Luckily, I found the ammy around level 29. (I play solo, self-found). I had a crappy +16 Dex item in my equipment prior to the ammy. Base 20, +16 Dex isn't going to fuel the gem requirements, which is why I went "right" out the 6% attack speed node and grabbed the 30 Dex and Mana. Base 50 Dex + 16 Dex, is 66 Dex, which is right at Dex requirements of my current gem levels. Without the ammy I found at level 29, I'd have Dex problem.

I have addressed dex and mana early on

for dex throw on a +30 dex ammy. boom you're good til like level 30

for mana early on, either spec into the three mana nodes to the left of start, or grab a couple mana rings with mods.

you shouldn't be speccing weird stuff all over the map just to level your gems so hard. if you can't level up a gem for a level or two til you get to the next dex node, it's not going to hurt you.
Never mind.

I thinked hardly about getting M&M last night. I think I dont take it. I can get good armour nodes on the way to IR and have no mana problems later on. It makes no sense for me without increasing mana pool alot. If I have no big mana pool, lets say <500? No clue to block this little dmg and run out of mana than. I prefer more tankiness and lifeleech > if I still have mana in fight I can leech life back.

Im level 32 Nemesis atm. Build is alot of fun.
I've came up with this Spectral Throw Scion build:

I think the advantages are:
- You can spec into Blood Magic if you want to
- Diamond Flesh for free
- Not wasting a point for grabbing the Endurance Charge at Templar
- Maximum Life +194% compared to +172% as in the OP build

It has a little less base hp and less attack speed, but with 7 less points used I still think it's good.

Also, grabbing the Wicked Blade and Blade Master clusters also improves for 1H swords. Which means I can use 1H untill I grab Wrecking Ball if I need to, right?

I'm wondering if the Duelist starting area really is so good. What's the main reason you go there?

Input on the build would be nice :)
