garbage? have you ever programmed against a api? how can you debug a situation of a computer just switching off and rebooting?

experience says that in 99% of cases it's hardware related, in case of a driver failure or inconsistent state win would show a bluescreen.

Hey there,

If you are having issues related to this thread, can you please create a new thread detailing the error you are receiving? Be sure to include the details of where it happens (in-game), the fixes you have tried, and a DxDiag report in a spoiler tag.

Thanks.

And to add to what Vio said, this is from Yeran earlier in the thread.

Had this same problem happen three times over the last few days... never had any problems like this before the 2.3 patch.
my physical memory from 27% increase drastically to 50%++ till it instantly shuts down once i play path of exile.. however, if i minimize the game and go back to windows, the physical memory usage will start to drop back to normal.

they add something after the patch that push the memory to the limit.
for those that suffer the same way, i suggest drop the game.
if u keep on going will affect ur computer hardware.

however, one of the latest patch i heard that they solve the problem regarding memory dump from 15 years Window XP system. Hopefully that will fix everything. Or else users from window XP and window 7 will all start to move out from the game.

this started to happen with me about 18 hours ago. before 2.3 this never happened.
sometimes when i launch game my pc shuts down, sometimes after loading city, last time was after 5-7 mins, after i entered map.
tried gc2, nosound, swa, run as administrator, run as xp compatibility mode, windowed, windowed fullscreen, updated drivers, reinstalled. nothing helped.
my pc goes to 113F.
no idea what else i can do

Seems like you stroke again bro.
This 99% is subjective false and insultant for customers ... Please don't give numbers from your hat to bump your troll thanks.

i found what error i have after shutting pc down after launching poe

Windows Kernel event ID 41 error «The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first».

any ideas?
this is one of the alternatives that i can suggest since even GGG dont know what seems to be the problem..

Go to your poe folder location
Look for a file name "POELauncher"
Right click and send shortcut to desktop
Go to ur desktop and u will see a new file name "POELauncher -shortcut"
Right click the folder and open properties.
Inside the target column beside the name add "(space)--nopreload" and apply
Use this folder to access through the game
Should be okay hopefully

and this is what i tell ggg, the players troubleshoot and come up with fixes most times that ggg is not even aware of to keep playing the game... nice.
