Using your build. I really like EK and I like the aura build.
I am on Nemesis lvl 62. Had some problems with dps. Solved that now.
My gear is crap basically.

Bought a tabula rasa for 10 chaos. So I can now run increased rarity on my EK
Using an aurseize to get some more.
Going to farm Fellshrine for a few levels to get some life nodes. And hopefully some currency to buy some better gear.

ATM I run
4L Reduced mana, Clarity, Grace, and Arctic armor.
Purity of elements on its own.
6l EK, Added Fire, Faster casting, Faster projectiles, Life leech, Increased rarity

1533 HP 346 energy shield.
mana 105/802 697 reserved regen 136
Resist 23,48,75 -44

DPS on tooltip 1959,7

You should know Reduced Mana doesn't affect Arctic armor, so might as well move Purity of Elements in there. GL farming!

Level 83, took the 6% Life + 4% Chaos Resist Node.

In other news, Map Dominus does soooo much damage. This build can tank it, but not for long, especially in a Temporal Chains map (note to self - I fucking HATE that mod). Had to make a tactical retreat there.

Found an increased duration which works great with artic armour skil duration is increased but mana drained is not! :)

How do you only have 1500 health at lvl 62 with this build?

I'm using this build for my 2nd character. My first playthrough (Normal only) was with a Duelist who sucked so hard I only completed Act 3 through hurling myself at the final boss until he died from exhaustion, having killed me so many times. I learned a TON along the way and I don't regret it - I'm a very casual player. But I thought I'd try to avoid that route with this character.

My gear still runs from poor to terrible, but it's improving and I managed to complete normal only dying 4 times total - twice from unexpected swarming and twice from Dominus. Much improved! And this build has been a lot more enjoyable. Thanks a ton for posting it!

I've managed a 4L with EK, Projectile Speed, Item Rarity, and Life Leech. My only sustained skill gems are mana regen and arctic armor. My only curse is Projectile Weakness but I've tied that and a decoy totem to a cast when stunned.

My question is this: I've got the "Base Build" done and am unsure which direction to expand in first. I'm thinking survivability over offense at this point. Recommendations?

My build is slightly different from the base because I happened to have good resists (at least before the -20% kicked in). Instead of the +18% resists I grabbed the +Int, Aura Effect and Reduced Mana Reservation directly above Harrier.

running 3 auras - Hatred, Clarity, Grace + Arctic Armor
dps is 3691 w/o Hatred 2616
other points gonna spend on life nods and maybe take Leather&Steel from Duelist tree.
Build is nice) but need good gear to be a tank

This helps a lot while leveling Ethereal Knives.
