Naturally, I couldn't cast Raise Zombies myself, as the support disables the casting. So I'd have to toss a melee skill in there to start things off (which would trigger Raise Zombie, naturally).

Still, I really hope that gem combination works.

Does reduced duration reduce damage as well? For example, can you use it to quicken up burns for higher dps?

No, that only happens if you have a mod like goddess scorned's "burn 50% faster". Currently the only useage of reduced duration is faster lightning warps and instant trap detonations when using sunburst.

The proc on melee attack, maybe. The proc on damage taken not at all. In maps 4xx damage means everytime you're hit, meaning you can just have end cry on auto cast. People don't have a problem finding a link for faster cast or IAOE for end cry, having it autocast will be easy to do.

Also the on stun could be a replacement for CI needing chayula or US. Throw on something like cold snap and whenever you get stunned you freeze everything around you to prevent taking damage.

Honestly these gems open up a giant metagame. If you don't see it now you must still be playing GS mara.



I agree that defensive triggers will be used quite extensively, but as I said in another post, I really doubt people will be removing 2 gems from their 5/6 linked active skills to add one trigger condition that procs on offensive action.

Most skills you already need ALL gems of a 5/6 link because you can't proc other skills to open things up. Now you can.

Just wanted to clear up that the 50% burn speed increase doesn't reduce the damage done. Burn amounts are decided when the burn is applied, the burn faster mod just applies that chosen damage over a shorter time.

Reduced duration + EA, finally don't have to worry about the delay between shot arrows and the boom =p.

Cwdt is looking to be an awesome gem. For higher maps ec and skeletons can both be linked to it. There are a lot of possibilities.

For comk, I thought you would have that gem + desired skill + supports in a separate link, and whenever you killed an enemy in melee range with any skill it has a chance to proc the linked skill (s)
