Anyone notice that on the video showing the Scion skill tree that it appears that there is no paths at all connecting through the center of the tree anymore? Looks like travelling across the tree just got very hard for any non-Scion character...

I feel like a lot of classes will be shifting towards being a Scion now. It makes me worry we'll see too many of them.

On the other hand it will mean that classes will be more focused on what they should be doing, instead of having witch archers or marauder casters just because they happen to be slightly more efficient to get the same nodes...
So I guess any build that requires things from opposite sides of the tree will necessarily be Scions now, but hopefully there will be quick (maybe even quicker than now) paths in the edges that make hybrid builds that use things on nearby edges useful with current classes (bloodmagic + iron reflexes for instance might still be viable for marauder/duelist/ranger) Designer of The Broken Crown
