I went for some time without any feedback too, so I sent an email reminder and was quickly contacted by Erik. It went really fast from then on, the design was finalized after 3 days and uploaded in a week's time.

I can't remember how long I waited for the Avatar design.. but I wasn't really paying attention. Figured it'd happen when it happened, and the email took me by surprise. They're a small group juggling a great many things so I think a little patience and understanding on our part goes a long way to reducing their stress. I think they lost an artist somewhere along the way too, so things may have stopped/slowed for a bit.

Same with the Unique.. had some discussion in a couple emails, but currently waiting to hear about Mark's thoughts/options for a drawback and that was near two months ago. Maybe what I'm hoping for requires some "new tech".. dunno.

Anyhow, all in good time.. :)

I am being patient and rational.. I think I only upgraded to Diamond from Gold like 2 days before OB started. So I am obviously going to be right at the back of the queue which is only fair.

I only got Diamond in early January and I got my Avatar/Unique email within 2 weeks. Sorry, don't know what you tell you. :/

When did you submit your ideas though? Is your unique already finalized?

Here's another new avatar that isn't in the OP. I remember this one because it's the guy who made Alpha Howl, one of the new uniques. One that ranks high on my wish list.

Thanks for the links. Updated the main post again.

I know GGG has a large backlog of custom avatars they're trying to work through, much like unique items. I'm sure they'll get in touch with you eventually as they work through the list. If you're impatient than you can try contacting one of the devs to get your ball rolling.
