Perz' Reave Shadow
" You need ghost reaver or dont even go CI. faster attacks and multi strike are a must, or at least faster attacks. This is KEY as well. Attack so fast you leech out of the dmg. I'm rofflingstomping my way through cruel. 947 dps at 41. and I got waiting for me... along with alpha's howl, rainbowstrides, a decent claw and eye of chayula which im use at 42 as life. I cant wait lmao. Last edited by DamageIncorporated#7815 on Oct 31, 2013, 2:11:57 PM

Ack!
Cruel quest reward... IAS, or PHYS dmg? Hard to decide. |

This build looks really interesting I have a lvl 47 shadow and I'm thinking of trying it out. I tried a lightning bow build, but it just couldn't survive or put out the damage I needed.
Do you have any claws around lvl 50 that are laying around I could trade for/ I'm really interested in this build looks fun. Yes good sir, I enjoy slaying mythical creatures.

" Well wow I don't have anything yet. My main problem is that I don't have the right sockets/color for my gems :( And can't even afford buying Eye anything yet :/ Trying to get Multistrike cheap atm but the prices are way to high .. I have GR but no CI yet. I need VP I guess since it doesn't regenerate fast enough as I tried to describe :D Last edited by Feoras#2611 on Oct 31, 2013, 2:53:54 PM

" 1. With multistrike and all that AS nodes IAS is not an issue. Go for raw damage and crit chance. 2. When it comes to "Eye of Chayula" don't overpay it only becouse of 2-3 attribute stats. "Cannot be stuned" is what you need from that ammy. Get expensive legacy one only if you need those (5-10) points for str/int requirements on your gear. " Ty for your thoughts. I was leaning towards phys dmg. as you say...multistrike and faster attacks are key, but largely take care of IAS, was my train of thought. Not to mention the IAS passive nodes. And same with the ammy. I wasn't about to pay top end for perfect. Though having a 10 all att's would just....erk me. " But then there's this... ( sorry not to be sarcastic, but Im well aware of this segment of the guide. Thing is it's largely undecisive and unclear.) And the reflect dmg aspect... I just don't see it, as a 20% phys reflect dmg wasn't a concern on my 25k duelst. WIll I reach 40k or 80k dps some day? Maybe. Would it be a issue then? maybe. Also, avoid Phys dmg? cuz that's what you're suggesting. The line of logic I;m not seeing. By that logic I shouldn't get a leet 300dps claw either. So I'm torn and looking for thoughts :) Phys dmg = mana leech ( life leech is a non issue), focal point damage ( physical), and more cold damage from hatred. Also like the idea of as much phys dmg as possible considering multistrike gimps your dmg. It's a tough one. Last edited by DamageIncorporated#7815 on Oct 31, 2013, 3:32:15 PM

I took ias for bandits and mana leech is no problem for me.

I got a question to Multistrike. I just were able to buy it now I'm wondering about the DPS calculation. Is the DPS already calculated correctly? It says it attacks 2 additional times, is the demage of these attacks calculated into the DPS or do I have to multiply the DPS*3 (normal attack +2 additional once)? Because I didn't noticed any DPS difference when replacing it with faster attacks but 3 attacks should make more dps than 30% faster attacking. Or am I getting something wrong? Thanks

" I didn't mean to say it's a problem. I just meant mana leech benefits more noticeably from more phys dmg,as opposed to life leech if that makes sense. Sorry. ( with this build, with so much life leech) My point was listing what benefits from phys dmg. I'm taking the 8% ias. Multiplicative dmg, faster attacks, faster dmg out put, faster hit leeching life. When you're coming form a DWer, the loss in attack speed not DWing... But then there's blood rage!! along with multistrike and faster attacks so Im still torn !! lmao The build is lacking phys dmg and strength compared to a duelist. It's a hard decision when it's a permanent reward, and there doesnt seem to be real numbers crunched on 8% ias vs 18% physical. Last edited by DamageIncorporated#7815 on Oct 31, 2013, 5:54:43 PM
