" abyssus is just for fun. melting through enemies with over 100k dps is awsome but useless in harder maps. i love using it in dominus and piety runs but also in easy maps without phys reflect. in all other cases i use alpha's howl. " get a rare claw with more dmg, a 5l armor, q gems and lvl up to improve your dmg. it's all been said already. " trading ingame was the best until 1.0 and after the release i didn't really trade anymore, so i guess you just have to be patient. btw crafting a good claw is insanely hard. Im loving the idea, and loving leveling for this build...
But the wtB forum is useless :( Anytime iv ever posted WTB something,... I get responses with either A) junk, or B) no responses. How do you guys get these mythical lvl 50ish cheap 5L's? I cant track down a decent 5L, or a 250 dps weapon. I have the currency to buy a 300+dps claw for 60+ too.... No answer. I want to look forward to this but it's looking like a real drag. |

Level 46 here, working my way through Act 2 cruel. The damage is phenomenal, but at the same time, my survivability is the total opposite. If I get stunned, it seems to end up in a chain stun, followed closely by death. While I can wipe out normal mobs without an issue, if I can't get into position to hit my first few Reaves (be it desync or what have you), I just get nuked. My gear is as follows:
What can I get to improve? Any help would be appreciated. |

" I'm at act 2 cruel too, level 48. And I'm only running around with Reave+faster attacks and hatred. Wow I'm jealous of your equipment :P Anyway, what's your ES? I have 550 and skilled GR, this boosted my survivability really a lot since I have more ES than HP anyway plus I dodge more with ES shield up. Besides that I'm not having any real trouble. All res between 50-75% though. Try not to get surrounded by enemies, always walk a bit back so you can hit all of them when they try to get you. That's what I'm doing. Only dying of chaos dmg atm. As this build basically requires several expensive uniques to reach its full potential, if you're starting in a new league I'd suggest using this build http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/105920 with reave. My scion is significantly weaker than my shadow (which has twice the dps of my scion) but is significantly tankier and uses cheaper equipment.

That's without Blood Rage on. Perhaps I should be switching out Hatred for Grace since I'm dying incredibly easily? "You're telling me to reroll because I can't afford uniques? No thanks. to all of you guys having trouble surviving: get as much es on all of your gear as you can. also eye of chayula is an absolute must. if you don't have that amu, you could go for iron reflexes combined with unwavering stance.

" Well it could be an issue against ele dmg obviously. I'm running at 666 DPS atm and it's way enough to kill the monsters in a few seconds. Try using Grace maybe, or I would even suggest Discipline for more ES which should benefit more from the nodes. But on the other hand focusing on ES without having GR can also get an issue. Though that's your decision if you focus a bit more on HP and switch to HP later as Perz said but I managed with ES and GR better atm. ----- I'm gonna post my gear and stats skill tree because I'm not having much trouble atm in act 2 cruel. Maybe it could be a help to someone: Level: 48, ES: 552, HP: 517. 666 DPS with Reave and Hatred activated. 50-75% ele res (-20% Chaos). 44% evade chance. Only using Reave+Faster Attacks and Hatred atm (even though there might be some more gems in my gear I don't use them). Everything self found / quest rewards. Except Hatred bought that earlier. Always try to only use ES/EVA gear. Pref. with more es. So my gear:
