How are you going to run discpline and clarity and probably purity and still have sufficient mana to cast discharge...the mana cost of discharge itself is increased snd adding a reduced mana gem to discharge links really takes away damage

scion is the best in the game cus ur in the middle of the highway....true that templar was best for discharge but tats b4 this scion came about...though noone has yet planned any scion discharge build yet...but they probably might

OK boys this is my official post 1.0 release aftermath /damage assessment :)
Overall not that much is lost that I've feared, seeing our passives tossed around I really feared worse. OK this is my new and revamped tree, I came probably 97% close to original :) If you know better way of do things, please share; New Discharger tree Link It's more or less same as original, except I've lost my whole body and soul circle (6 nodes there, now only 2 full /no passives for more) It's fair to say that I've taken one passive more near assassination tree (spell power) and I did get 1 endurance charge more then I had before (deliberately, I could avoid it and save skill point) so if my calculation is correct we have lost -2 points- of skill tree due to new tree difference. Which is tolerable, you'll agree. I'm level 77, to return to my old ES value I'll need 4 levels more (but I have more spell damage and end charge now, otherwise I would need 2) =81 and I still need to take that small spell crit arcane potency trio of nodes, meaning this build will be almost done at lvl =84. Ofc If you think we need deep thoughts then this version of our tree would be finished at lvl =87 This is btw and by far most demanding (in skill points)variation of discharger build. Chayoula version needed 10 lvls less (now 8), but this is probably most powerful and most complete one. OK, now other problems, auras. IDK guys if you needed purity (i didn't) but it takes 29% of my mana now (lvl 17, w reduced mana lvl 17) Don't care about that too much, bigger problem is discipline, same level and same mana reduce gem, it takes now 44% of my mana, which is substantial = 548 mana /306 to play, 241 discharge costs /meaning only one discharge, not 2 as before. This is need I to say, quite bad. I mean I've cleaned docks few times, you can play like this but that's really not "it" we were very thin on mana before and this aura cost nerf affects us quite. Both because of low mana and low ES otherwise of our build. Whatever we give up, it hurts. We could swap voidbringers for maligaro gloves, but this loses me 40 chc for spells and almost 800 of ES (ouch). Deep thoughts could help to a point, still I'm not sure if we could cast 2 times as before, probably not. Before this I had around 5400 ES (divinarius and chc ES shield) now with 4 defensive passives lost I have 4684 which is still playable. If I turn off my discipline I'm off to 3800, which is playable but then it's "adrenaline mode" - smallest mistake and off you go. I was just getting used to play with 5.5K of ES, it was very pleasant and safe. And now this :) Seems like aura nerf hit us badly because we were already very stretched as a build. hmm i am guessing that ur gonna take Arcane potency and up for deep thoughts and focus on getting the rest of the body and soul nodes

Ah nvm bro I'm kidding, nothing can save me from my own impatience. Besides it's PusLe fault, he published inefficient tree first! I demand half of my currency back, ye hear me?! :) So, anyway, we lost exactly NOTHING in passives respec. Almost as someone from GGG plays discharger too :) As for your tree, respec those two points below blast radius, spell damage and elemental dominion, we need chc more badly then damage, when you crit - damage is good. Invest them either near assasiantion (3) or bloodthirst (2 passives) new and updated tree: Link /New Discharger Tree And I've used saved points to grab deep thoughts and dire circumstances forced me to abandon my precious; For this Old, ugly, nasty thing; Result of both changes? Mana at 862 /380 reserved /482 to play. My discharge - 241. Yes 50% EXACTLY :) Were back in business baby, only with MF 0% EDIT 432 mana to play with gifts, still totally playable. I'm glad that you updated the skill tree for 1.0. I was totally lost on where to start until I check out the thread again. Yes, the patch did a big hit on the build, running two auras hurts alot and I'm only able to cast 1 discharge at a time. For now I forgot 2 gifts from above to 1 + a dream frag, for now, it took care of my mana needs.
