[1.0] Complete Power Discharge Guide - Efficient Leveling Route & Detailed Gear Req.
" It's a bit hard because its 3 offcolours. Sould you not achieve to link it, I can tell you that you can play with simply Blood range and Immortal call with no supports at all. You are immune to stun, so faster casting is more a luxury than anything else. Increased duration with Immortal call is highly recommended. What you could do if you want IC linked with ID is to move blood rage from helm to boots (making boots: Discipline, Red Mana, Purity, Blood Rage = BBRG, should be achievable within 20-30 chromes). And then simply have Faster Casting + ID + IC on helm (BRR X ) should also be doable within a couple chromes. |
|
My divinarius is 3 link rbg, I was able to get my helm rrbb. I put IC and ID in the helm abd put blood rage with faster casting and ID in divinarius. that should work for now.btw I used 80 chroms to get 2 red sockets. didnt even get a linked green either.

Hey there, Anarchy level 87 Discharger here.
Nice guide, really well written! Your talents at 85 are almost identical to mine, just a few flavour differences. A few things I'd like to note based on my personal experience: I used a Void Battery up until about level 85, but I have a few gripes with it, and honestly feel that my performance is better with a single Div/Shield. The -% Spell Damage on the Void Battery means that you do almost no damage unless you have a few Power Charges present, and with full charges, the damage is just insane. To the point of overkill insane, where all you're really doing is increasing your chance to die on reflect. Also, the Div gives you more constant damage and still let's you blow up the screen with 20-30% full charges. I sold my Void Battery and haven't looked back :P But that's just my opinion! Also, on your final talent tree, the level 85 one, you have one wasted node. It's the +10 int node to the left of "Amplify" right at the start of the Templar area. Nice guide man! " Thanks for feedback! Yes I find the -80% Spell damage to be quite annoying on void battery simply because you absolutely need at least 2-3 power charges to actually deal damage. At first, I took it mainly because of the +Max power charge because I had helped Oak in Merciless (+Endurance) and by Crit Chance was a bit low. I think I'm going to stick to VB at the moment and when making my new character in the new leagues, I'll take the power charge in merciless and stick with a Diviniarus (+10% AOE & Mana on Kill is insane on Div). Yea I think that's a missclick because I haven't taken it on my 85 Discharger! |

OK, I've wrote review of discharge build for other guide, but since this guide is just .. same build essentially (rightfully stole... ehm taken :) older guide has stopped in updating and has some information missing /lacking)
I think this info might help ppl to determine is this something they want to play or not: ====================================================================== Ok as I've promised Here's my review of this build/guide. First, if you were interested, this build indeed delivers as promised. You can indeed kill screens of mobs with one key again and again. It works. Ok now we must debunk few myths. People will hate you in parties. Wrong. Actually, people will join discharger party happily. Either to discharge with you or for free exp and items. You will find party easily. And they will come in handy too. You won't critt or kill all every time. Some backup will be welcome. You will kill yourself on reflect. Wrong. I've found many dangers to this build but reflect was not one of them. You can scale your damage if you need, lose the crit. curse ofc. and vaal pact will ensure your survival. You won't have enough of ele. resists /you need purity aura. Actually, resists won't be a problem. If you get nice resi belt and helm, plus tree resi, you will cap your resi even without purity. I've used these; And my resists are currently 66/63/66. With void barrier bonus (on lvl 73) I'll have 74/71/74 which is close enough. OP went different route, more ES on gear /less resi but then you need purity AND deep thoughts (more mana) to compensate. Discharge is OP. Actually, it's not. I would say it scales pretty nicely. Yes you will and can clear screen after screen for most of times, however leftovers of tougher mobs are fairly common. You won't kill all every time. You won't crit every time. Things will get hairy. And you'r ES will be your weakest point. It just goes with this build, no alternative I'm afraid. Your MF sucks. Actually, your sheer kill speed will more then compensate for your low MF. While other guy cleans the room you will zap through three. This guy piles loot and exp very fast, comparing to my other chars. Do not dwell on "low" MF for a second. This game is lottery anyway. So yes, this build works but you know how it is. Glass canon, and glass does break. This is my tree at lvl 69 - My tree /link. As You can see I'll be able to reach to full void barrier circle on lvl 73. 2 additional charges at lvl 77. And deep thoughts at lvl 80. Then build will be finished, more or less. Now Currently with two weapons; My crit is insane but ES is stucked on 3260, with aura, yes. So for now I'm using recommended ratpith shield which keeps my ES at playable 4160. Yes, ice spears don't always crit but it's not that disturbingly noticeable. It takes time to get used to gameplay I warn you. Your charges are your attack and defense. As soon as your ES or mana begin to deteriorate you must discharge. When you're in large group of mobs you feel safest. Small groups /few tough monsters - could be a problem. Safest route is just to zoom by them and let them follow you in larger group. You must move quickly and kill en masse, to keep this build really shine. Your ES is low, armor too meaning that your ES will go down brutally fast. Your only solution is to kill them before they kill you. It works nicely most of time but you have very thin margin for error. Still this is my fastest exp gathering character even with occasional death. Because rate of kill with this build is insane. Build is lot of fun, that is for sure. Still I wouldn't recommend it to everyone. I'm writing this so that you have some visualization of what you're getting into. Weak point of build: Ele resist monsters. Nobody warn you about those huh? :) They can be annoyingly resistant to your damage. I'm even thinking of getting ele weakness curse, it works wonders on my ele archer char, so why not here. Fast yellow monsters. If they have ele resist for example and flicker strike, they follow you around (those bastards at market, hooked horors or something...) You are virtually defenseless. Very annoying, best thing just to run away. Sometimes even small group of fast normal mobs can pose a problem to you. Low "health" so even occasional lucky strike from black mage lightning can maul you to death. Sometimes you don't' even know what killed you, because of frenetic tempo and low health. One more thing, this build pretty much shines in killing bosses, they usually go down much faster then with other char. IGN STD Ajax_Deadeye| Nathaniel_Corwin| Itane_Shira| Tetra_Mayani| Arkanis_Gath

Nice review,
the only thing I disagree is the MF...even though the clear speed is fast as it is possible (just run, discharge, run) the things you drop without any MF are just...horrible. I am currently hesitating whether to go this route with CI and best ES/damage possible to be able to clean all maps or just go MF low life Lunaris only because in current state of MF its difference between like 5 or 25 rares per run (yes, you clean faster then sporker but not 5 times faster). I am just praying some major changes to MF will come in upcoming release cos It rly sucks to be forced to utilize all characters as MF (in order to actually find anything). |

Nice review indeed.
I only have one point on which I disagree. Resist monsters have never ever been a problem for me. Once you get up to 500 crit multi and when Crit weakness curse doubles this into 1k crit multi, mobs resistances are just meaningless. About the MF, I disagree to a certain extent. This build has a potential for MF if you simply chose to go that way. You can easily equip a Gift From Above (This may be an Anarchy only unique tho) and drop Increased Crit Chance for 20/20 rarity, doubling your MF. Personally, I use low life discharger to farm lunaris 3 (4-5 Minutes runs selling everything at vendor) and once I farmed up 40-50 Chaos/Chisel, I spec out of Pain Attunment to spec into CI (and the 4 points behind it) to run 3-4 days of maps. Once I've ran out of 71-75's I use 5 regret to drop CI and go back to farming. This is easily done equiping full MF with High level Clarity + BM + Red mana on life to drop Low life. 6L volls has to be RRBBBB to kick out Inc Crit (Chance or Dmg, depending on what you farm) and mana leech to put IIQ IIR Gems. I have a 3500 ES 260/70 MF with this set up and I have far from good gear. Last edited by Lydrica#4003 on Oct 1, 2013, 2:48:37 PM

Guys, about MF, you are right - to a point, I've recently read a rant from high MF sporker claiming that he runs high level maps, getting tons of rares constantly and that he cannot find/sell anything worthwhile for months. So it's all relative. Really good items in this game are lottery. If you buy lottery ticket, and your neigbour buys three, whould you say he has MUCH bigger chance of getting jackpot? :) Ofc if you grind small curency on daily bases, high MF is useful. I just tend to build my chars to maximum efficiency - kill speed. Old habbit I suppose :)
About resi monster, well I am level 70 (68-69, even lower when I wrote this) so that probably explains it. Higher you go, easier it gets. " The major issues are that as you said it yourself, you have to respec every time u want to switch Mf/maps to get the PA etc but even bigger problem is u would effectively have to chrom the Volls each time (to get one more RED for item quantity and then back to 1 green for leech)...which together can be rly huge money sink unless ure rich and dont care (in this case it would be better to have 2 6L Volls, one for MF and one for maps) which is for me impossibru since I am poor and dont even have 6L. Btw I am using Gifts from Above too, once the anarchy ends it wont transfer to standard? |

" I have lvl 82 sporker, farmed Lunaris and Docks, got THOUSANDS of rares, not a SINGLE one could be sold...everything went to vendor (I am not exagerrating, not a single one). The biggest thing I ever found was Rainbowstride, few exalt drops and 2 uniques sold around 10 chaos, running with 100/340 MF (with flask). So I kinda agree with you that high MF doesnt guarantee a valuable drop, what it guarantees you though is 1-3 full inv of rares in just 1 dock run and this is actually my main income, sell everything for alts->jew->fus and sell that for chaos/ex together with 2 chaos recipe. So without any MF u wont get many rares so ull be relying solely on RNG for lucky drop, which has not worked for me so far <> I too would love to build to have maximum kill efficiency/survivability but also knowing I wont have any income and wont be able to afford any upgrades for any chars...meh I wish GGG would just remove MF completely Off Topic: Its horrible to sell anything in this game...I spam chat all day, have organized forum post, have some rly nice items like 460 dps maul, 3 res+life+high armor gear, 5Ls, still not a single person wants to buy anything...I dont know if the game is dying or what but if it continues like that Ill quit soon:( sry for the QQ it just had to go out, rly tired at 3:51 after few hours trade chat spam and another day without finding buyer for anything Last edited by Aerinqq#7055 on Oct 1, 2013, 10:00:23 PM
