ill say if you play much and upgrade your gear 35-40k dps should be in reach. for everything else you need to play on standard and have access to either mirror worth gear or close to mirror worth gear.

i had 78k dps with 6l and a 356pdps dagger with 8,2% crit chance NOT using abyssus

dagger with high phys dps and crit chance is the most important piece. thats where the dmg is multiplied from

going to try and get a 1.8-2.0 APS dagger with 300 or more pDPS and at least 8% crit, although going to be very, very hard.

there isnt even one in ambush/standard league right now.

thats how hard it is to get them

i played 4 months with an 296pdps dagger until i saw the first 300+ pdps ambusher popping up.
that was the 358 i was talking about. thats how rare that stuff is .)

Try to get 1.5+ APS dagger with 9%+ crit chance and at least 200 DPS. That will be enough for abyssus. If you plan to get better weapon, consider about removing Abyssus as well, as your crit will deal too much damage to survive reflect.

so not enough advices? and dont go for slow daggers, go for fast daggers, since lower max dmg and faster reave stacks helps a lot in dangerous situation and you get a more constant leech esp. on maps with temp chains, frozen ground and or cold dmg

The only real advice there is that you need godly items to reach high DPS. Oh, and higher AS. Not all gems should be 20/20, quality on some is insignificant. 60+ crit multiplier on amulet is legacy ATM, and impossible to get in a new league (and even for standart, getting legacy items means you will spend a lot of funds).
Good advices are those, that allow to upgrade gear without drastical cost increases. For example, his dagger is really bad, not because it has too bad rolls, but because it has wrong rolls, not suited for build.

It's strange to see 14% life leech in defensive stats and don't see it in the passive tree/gear (except a ring with 4% life leech).
Q: how did you obtained 14% life leech?

Blood rage 20/20 buff = 10% life leech (11% with Empower)
Death Rush ring = 4% life leech
14% life leech total
