Holy Flame Totem

Still hoping that one day we get the Flamethrower as a cast-able skill.
I guess this might be the place to ask, but where would I even get this gem? I'm interested in trying a build that will use it in OB, but can't find information on how it is acquired.

You get Flame Totem as a Templar and Witch on Cruel Brutus at the earliest(I think).
flame -totem still refuses to attack enemys standing next to a wall (while having line of sight)
with the new totem passive it is now impossible for my character to kill enemys standing next to a wall
was hoping last patch would fix this issue
is there a way to get shock stacks on mobs with this skill? and if yes how?

and is it possible somehow to add cold damge to it?

Using Added Lightning Damage or Added Cold Damage supports should work. It won't be very strong procs though since the dmg will be low.
It's quite unlikely to be strong enough. It's literally only a few points of Elemental damage; all flat damage is cut down to 10% due to the Damage Effectiveness.
will the passive "increase cast speed" in skill tree increase the attact speed of flame totems?

Is it just me or is the flame totem broken?

The description claims the totem attacks every 0.08 seconds - a blisteringly fast cast rate that I shouldn't even see. The problem is I can *see* the flames shoot out about 4-5 times a second, and the totem barely does damage to monsters caught in the flames.

Heck, a flame trap with *half* the DPS of my flame totem can kill monsters in a few seconds while my totem has only halved the HP of *one* monster. I also notice the if surrounded by more than one monster, the totem seems to "choke" and stop attacking even if the monster is on open ground.

May be a silly question, but does +% Minion Life support gem affect Flame Totem's (and totems' in general) max. HP ?
