Alas. I was hoping the next long race would be a bit farther out. Im still in the moving process and wont have net set up until end of the week. I will try to run a small bit next weekend to help test the resistance changes!

I would like to point out that only at maxed gear you capped your resistences.
Most of the time, I run my characthers with 50-60% res, in merciless too, so I dunno how this is enough balanced.

I think before they nerf the party exp, a good system has to come up to give a bonus to parties. Also give a reason to solo vs party. Not stacking all the favor to 1 side or the other.
Right now solo has exp advantage and the no worry of loot being stolen.
Boosted party has the advantage is exp, increased items, little worry of loot being stolen.
Party has progressing faster, increased items.
All in all, its pretty even but each can be exploited and I'm pretty sure we will see "boosted party" being done soon a lot and solo players will be upset when it starts to make its way into races.
What I'm talking about when I say "boosted party" is I'm talking about me and 5 buddies are in a party, 5 of them stand at the start of the zone, I run around killing every mob in the zone.
I get 425% exp while the monsters only have 350% HP. I also get increased item drops.
The 5 extra people do not need to skill anything, nor be of a special level. So it can be my AFK friends, or 5 extra accounts, or whatever.
In regard to what to do to fix the issue with getting worse exp in a party when you are lower level, just make it so that there is a minimum xp cap as long as you are within 10 levels of the highest party member. I.E. party xp cannot be worse than solo xp. Problem solved.
For example if you are getting 10% of a lvl per map solo. You shouldn't get less than 10% of a lvl per map in a 2 player group just beacause your buddy is 5 levels higher level higher than you are.
As to the other issues you mentioned. They are real issues, but I addressed these already with a proposed solution back 1-2 pages ago.

Not once a duelist was mentioned in this thread. I wonder how badly we will get hit. Duelists, regardless of build, are getting less and less viable, esp. as solo classes, IMO.
Playing a dual-wielding swordsman of some kind.
In game name is Kaosu and/or ChaosBlade.

Could you elaborate? I plan to run 1h duelist and I haven't noticed any nerfs. What's wrong with duelists?

Huh, Duelist is the single best starting point for any Elemental based archer or melee in hardcore as well as being the best starting point for any non-RT Mara style build... the reach for life and elemental damage nodes is crazy good.

Duelists just seem very squishy in general to me. Sure, it could be just me, And i've posted/will post for advice on my current build in the correct forum, But with the Leather and Steel change, as well as the aura changes and now the resist changes, I feel like Duelists are harder and harder to maintain. If you look at PoEstatistics.com, you can see default league is about 6% duelists only, where witch and mara are 29% each on average, with ranger being third.
If you look at the thread count and replies on the forums here, Duelist is still one of the least discussed chars.
The fire/cold resistance nodes added for the duelist aren't nearly enough, IMO.

Currently have a lvl76 duelist in default, completely destroying the game with it. Build is 1h-rapier and shiled/ frenzy and cleave, etc.. 5.5 aps, 6.3k dps., 3k life. You get the idea.
Nothing will change for me when the next patch is deployed. When the resist nerf hits and the respec is given, I will again max my resist to 80% by switching 5-6 nodes at best, just by sacrificing a bit of dps(that is not really needed anyway). I am assuming bandit quest reset will be given as well.
Duelist = best class.
(For insane attack speeds ofc. Other classes are best for other things. :P)
