One-week "Resistance Penalty Testing" Hardcore Ladder Race

I'd like to see a few more lightning spells though, Its surely the underpowered triplet of the mages arsenal. If I donate $1,000 the item I would make would only have two stat, Gilded shoes +50% mov speed, randomly spawn obs as you run. "Approx 1 every 10min"

I'm going to be hitting this race hard with a Witch this time around cause I have exactly a one week break from studies so the timing is perfect. (I'll try not to die in a corner AFK like last time...).

If anyone wants to party with me at the start of the race for a while just PM me or post here (IGN Angryafrikan). I've always found normal difficulty much safer and smoother in a group.

too bad this starts at midnight for europeans, otherwise i'd join. No way to get to reward pool unless you start at beginning

Thats not true, I've seen at least one die early and get back to the top 10 only to die again, and yet again come back to the top 10.

Many In the top 20 at the end of the race died at least once during the week. I will only be able to minimally participate until Wednesday but still hope to achieve level 60 which will reap 60 orbs.

The winner of the last week long race died at level 56.
24 hours into the race.
The second place died at level 47. 11 hours into the race.

Not sure where you get this "you must be there at the beginning" thing.

I don't know why I cant get myself to want to play these leagues. I could do like 3 hour races non stop and never get bored.. but one week on a single character doesn't seem as fun as practicing for 3 hour races. Maybe because its hardcore..
