The footsteps are really ugly. Like WTF, doesn't GT have a good art department? Especially when your character is standing still, it looks really awful when those horrid looking logos are just under your feet. They could at least have done something better with this free microtransaction.

I was going to vote "dont care", but I reserve judgement until we see how many people will use this feature.
I am not really a fan of the in game advertising, and I dont like the idea of having lots of people running around town with this footprint option. It's tacky. Any in-game advertisement of an outside company is tacky. Car games and sports games are the only two that make sense in their game world.
If that makes me entitled, I don't give a sh**. I supported this game, but I don't agree with the advertising whoring that has become our modern marketplace. Diablo 3 is a shitty game but blizzard isn't stupid enough to put WoW advertisements IN-GAME. Really? wraecrest has razer products? sorry, every time i see those footprints it takes me out of the game. |
