Razer Footprints Promotion

guys, ty all for feedbacks! and now we will see who more important for GGG. huge part of their community or some "nice" guy from Razer.

We have strong opinions because we care about this game.

I play mostly solo, so I will not see this horrible effect most of the time. In that sense, yeah, maybe I shouldn't care.

Still, you'd have to agree they could have made a better implementation of this logo. How about an aura design, or a shield motif? How about tiny logos that match your feet when you are running around, not just a random blob dropping at intervals?

We already have a sun-style helmet effect. This logo, with moving, writhing snakes, could probably have worked in that place as well, but as "footprints"...?

this is stupid as hell...

Why would ya do this to your game GGG? Razer makes crap computer peripherals, seriously nothing falls apart like a Razer. Ugh...

I feel the same in a way. I will continue to play, but monetary support? I don't think so. I put money towards this game so that this kinda shit wouldn't happen.

No matter how you put it this is still blatant advertising which ruins not only the immersion but also the transaction ethics claimed by the devs.

GGG dont make to much more like this pls. This is ok (for me) since im a razer fanboy, playing with a razer orbweaver a razer mice and Headset.
If you make more adds like this that can ruin the game

To those that seem to take the backlash personally, consider that GGG will *hopefully* take player opinions into consideration when the next company comes knocking with a check in their hand for their in-game advertising promotion. The squeaky wheel gets the oil, and if you love this game as much as so many people do, then maybe it's something worth speaking out against.

Wow the things read in this topic are a disgrace.

I can understand and see where you come from where you say these kind of advertisements do not belong in a game with a world of fantasy, but having said the way some of you express that towards GGG is absolutely rude!

Personally I love Razer and with me allot of people do also since there market share is one of the biggest. Having Razer backing you up as an indie studio and get recognized by a company the size of Razer is an achievement itself and you all should have a little bit more respect towards GGG and applaud them to reach this status.

The free foot prints are a nice idea and I am sure GGG will keep it to a limit and not offer 20 different advertisement foot prints.

Hold your horses a bit, some of you have no bloody respect in any way of form, how can your opinion be valued if you speak like that.

Thank you GGG and well-done of achieving this, I think it's an awesome step forward and thank you for the free foot prints, I personally like them.


One a side note, some do not even see it advertisement and think the Razer logo is cool!
