Razer Footprints Promotion

If it would have been poisonous snake footprints nobody would have give a shit, and probably would have payed for it, as it really looks cool.

For those who are whining about the in game adds: ask GGG how much money do they get from razer, and spend equal amount of money on supporter packs, which is I guess like 10 ruler of wraeclast pack. Micro transactions have always been a form of monetizing, and while a nike logo would be weird, the green snakes fit into the world more like crowned frogs, and nobody complained about that

It seems GGG is fighting an impossible battle to please the players, who want everything NOW, and complain about every missing stuff, make threads like the game is dead, and nerf everything they are not using, and do it for free, despite that they have to pay for the servers, and for a lot of other stuff as well. So they not only should work for free, they should pay for making an awesome game.

Seriously what happened to the player base?

I think I'll skip on the giveaway, never really dug Razer stuff.

having ads or no ads is a big deal. for exmaple: adblock is the most used add-on on firefox. So even if you personaly don't care, many people do. And PoE so far have been on a good way without any in-game ads and that is one big reason to support them.

I prefer logitech casual mouses though, that Copperhead came with my Asus G51 laptop wasn't very comfortable, it's too sensitive, hard to hold, and buttons were too tough. GG Razor.

to everyone saying "oh but your not forced to use them!" like some idiot, have you ever considered that they might show up in towns and public parties etc?

I don't really mind this to much if i had the option to disable it for myself.. But if i ever see this shit ingame in town or some friend of a friend using it in grp ill be pretty pissed off..

I thought GGG cared about immersion in their game, but seems like they don't give a shit.. can't wait to see what they have planned next.

Im not gonna bother donating anymore money if they keep doing this shit, they can just get ad revenue instead of donations now if that's what they want.

I also can't belive Chris tries to justify this over on reddit saying it "fits into the game and dont break immerseion" what a joke! its a BIG LOGO FROM SOME COMPANY!

I don't mind them partnering up with other companies, maybe advertise their products somewhere but NOT ingame!

i really do hate advertisements. from the inside of my heart i don't want to be bothered by companies trying to manipulate me with senseless attention grabbing molestations in media and real life, i use ad blockers in my browser, have thrown out my tv 1997 only watching ad free dvd and internet movies and purposely don't buy products from companies who aggressively bother me with their products.

as i do acknowledge that promoting a voice chat is a good thing (i prefer mumble) i do not appreciate the ingame ads as it spoils my gaming experience. to be more blunt, it will give me the creeps when i see anyone walking around leaving an ad in his footsteps.

neither will this move encourage me to buy anything from razer in the fuure nor will i play more, i will rather avoid buying anything from razer because they now spoil my gaming experience.


i supported this game because ggg always wanted to keep their independency. while i know this is related to having no publisher i also understood that the game is funded solely by it's fans. many predicted this doesn't work in the long run, looks like they're right?
