[1.0.5] - Lvl 100 - Blastrophe's LA / Frenzy Life Based Crit Ranger w Video (Lioneyes or Voltaxic)

Got to level 79 before I got bored and my only complaint is this build is so expensive.. Without Voltaxic and Thunderfists my dps is underwhelming. Also, don't expect to hit Blast's life or dps tooltips without legacy versions of Kaom's and Thunderfists. Grats on a badass build but extremely hard to replicate.

I did just find a Darkscorn though. Might have to give it a try.

Focus on getting more resistances and more HP. Also your next 4 levels should be heartseeker (70%multi)

Hey, great write up/build.

I was wondering roughly how much armor you had with your displayed gear.
I'm following your build rather closely but I feel a tad fragile even with Grace running sitting at 5.2k armor and 4k hp. For example, the flicker strike Spider boss was giving me some problems although I can still dps it down. Do I need a Kaom's heart as the solution or can you identify something that I'm doing wrong?



I'm running your build, the only difference is I'm running 3 auras with alpha's howl+passives and using blood magic gems instead of the blood magic passive.

Keep your endurance charges up they help a ton against monsters like that also for higher levels once you hit the 90s and its a pain to die invest in a kaoms it will help you out a ton.

Thanks for a simple and easy to follow build, Blastrophe. Used 2x full respecs so far, turned an old, decent RT LA Ranger into a pretty useless crit Split Arrow Ranger, and now into this crit LA Ranger.

Would you mind doing a little upgrade check for me? I probably won't (ever) be able to get any of the uniques, so I'd appreciate the suggestion of a cheaper/easier to find alternative upgrade options.

None of the videos showed me using the ice spear method and I don't have my gear anymore to make one. If you have a 6L bow but lack dps don't use power charge on crit on your attacks you are better off using another gem that will boost your dps and just use Ice Spear to generate your power charges etc.

Your amulet and quiver both need crit multi 40%+ on both pieces will increase your damage by alot when you crit you will notice the difference. Also getting a 5L for your frenzy (maybe a 6L would be nice also if you don't get kaoms I would recommend getting a 6L for your LA and atleast a 5L for frenzy and using the BM gem and running auras especially for grace seeing as your life won't be nearly as high as someone with kaoms. Boot upgrade wouldn't hurt either to get more resist and move speed also the first ring is vendor trash no offense seems like anything would be an upgrade to that.
