i am 57 now and am rocking merci right now ;D marveil easy going and full act 1 solo. didnt die one time.

maybe my gear is better dont know ;D(i just used 1 alc for the weapons)

passiv at the moment(going fot the hp nodes right now)

I am trying this building too. Currently Level 51 Act3 Cruel.
I'm using mostly uniques without any problems so far.
Died only once. That was to Vaal; didn't get my flasks up in time :(

if you died that many times, perhaps u should improve your gameplay, or equip some resists so that elemental damage does not own you. With that much success in this thread, your total deaths simply explains your style does not suit a melee class. Pick a range spellcaster instead.

Edit: guess the first sword isnt good enough to throw an exalt on it? The only affix that would help me a lot is attack speed i guess.

they are both not worth exalting. im currently at 24k dps cleave with 2x 280 dps weapons. next big upgrade from here is 350+ dps weapons.

you dont notice as much. i had a huge jump once i got a weapon with attackspeed and high base damage. so yea, base damage, %phys damage AND attackspeed are very important.

EDIT: min dmg+max dmg /2 *attackspeed right? but do i do the ele dmg too? just add it to the pyshical right?

the only problem right now i have is the mana. if i run purity i run out of mana all the time. with only hatred and determination i have enough to use mana flask and spamm skills(i still go out of mana if i fight a boss)
i have 3% leech over gear and after 1 level i lose 1%(switch weapons) how do you run 3 auras + have the mana for the heavly attackspeed attack?should i maybe run manaleech on cleave?
on packs i have no problem i leech full mana out of them

EDIT:2 ok i have now 9k dps withought manaleech gem and i can attack as much is i want even on 1 enemy and i dont go out of mana ;D really nice guide i love it (80% reduced dmg with 3 charges and i will still get 2 more)

Well if i get the patch notes right cleave 40% reduced damage for DW is now 40% LESS damage.

So if you do 20k DPS now it will 12k in 1 day....

If thats true then R.I.P blender,also anyone mentioned before some major nerf or remove of Iron Reflexes?

Cleave: The dual wielding penalty for Cleave is now multiplicative and includes elemental damage.
