Official Blender Post! Lets theory craft for 1.2! 123k Cleave DPS!

Hey guys, I need some help getting some more dps and life, I seem to have most of the life nodes I need but am still only sitting at 3k life, I wouldn't mind increasing my dps also. I was looking at buying a mings heart to help with chaos damage and also boost my dps but they're a little out of my price range, don't have all that much currency to work with (About 5-10ex) I also know that buying a 6l would help greatly but could do with some tips. I use blood rage and get 4 frenzies which pushes my tooltip up to 32k

I'm by no means an expert on this, but you could respec some of your damage nodes into life nodes. I only have 13k tooltip DPS on Cyclone but still clear all maps pretty quickly. Having an extra 1k life or so makes a big difference, at least for me it did. When I jumped from 3.2k life to 4.3k life by respeccing into some life nodes, it made a world of difference when it comes to survivability. Just a suggestion.

my dual striek tooltip is 35.7k with hatred only life 3.5k and armor 7k have no clue how to get more life following this skill tree this is xp2's 120 point skill tree

It requires a certain unique called bringer of rain, the new one is cheap 3ex - 5ex (relative) and is fine for levelling up, but this build is centred around the legacy variant which goes for 14ex - 25ex (30+ for a top one). The only other investments are 2 physical 1h weapons so this build is a cheap 6ex built

It's a great fun build because it's all about CQC and is action packed. The build really shines when you acquire a soul taker and use the cyclone skill.

Has anyone A/B'd the new bringer vs a carcass jack and abyssus? Just curious.

I have seen it already but with this build you will have the problem, that you cant overcome the +X% more phys dmg taken from Abyssus. The skill build focuses a lot on high damage and uses the Blind from BOR for phys damage avoidance.
Maybe if you spend some points in armor+life in the Marauder-tree...

I used a 6L carcass jack for a while but not with abyssus, it was int/dex based and took a few hundred chromes to get the colours. It was like playing with a juiced up concentrated effect and was pretty great.

Currently I have swapped my bor for abyssus and a 6l lightning coil for the chest, which matches the abyssus perfectly. My findings are here:http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/922124
