Great work on the the Mac port, surprised it worked so well.

One thing: I had to re-download after my game crashed so hard I had to hard-restart my computer. The file corrupted and I threw away the content.ggpk file.
Game runs fine now, but I'm pretty sure I never got that 5 gigs back (I did empty the trash ad I haven't downloaded or created anything that large since yesterday).

Is that connected to the game that you know of? I assume it chached the file somewhere but I haven't got a clue where.

Content.ggpk is 5GB file, when you throw it away, it game redownloaded it.. Are you sure that you are missing extra 5GB?

There is a bug with 4.0.1 for me too. In finder it shows 251MB for size (Right-click/Get Info says this this too), although all the content is there and it really measures over 5.5GB.

But I think Disk Utility shows my overall space usage correctly.
Hey julus,

thanks for the fast answer. Sorry imalittle bit noobish on computers. So I have 4Gb ram which i have replaced a few month ago and my GPU is NVIDIA GeForce 9400M 256 mb.

So what happens is, the game is sort of fine, well fps drops and so on but i have learned to play with that. But i also have a pretty bad connection since i have moved. ANyways, the play screen just freezes and nothing else happens. So i have opened the ports on the routeur (what ever ones i found on the forum ) and it seems to have helped a tiny bit the fluidity of the game. But it still pretty bad.

So yea the crashes dont bring up any error messages, the screen jsut freezes and i cmd+Q to reboot game.

Hope this can help i might try and DL the new version also.

Ty Julus
And yea it does stutter! About the lighting arrow its the same for me!! this is why right now i play solo and its not to bad.
Really strange, when it goes from the launch window to the game window the resolution is like 250x250 and i can't make any changes...

Mac 1,1
12GB ram
ATI 3870
Lion 10.7.5

See FAQ on how to change resolution in production_Config.ini. That should do it.
I managed to finally be able to click and change it

No worries, I got it sorted out this morning, my bad. A bit of miscalculation and a couple of other things on my part (there's been a bunch of file shuffling going on and apparently I lack the brains to keep up with my own decisions...).

Sorry for that.

For the 16th time. Stuttering/FPS drops is game fault, not port. When the game stops to stutter on windows, then I will look onto that.

Well, tbh, im sat right next to my friend who is playing on windows, and what i am talking of does not happen on his machine,

its mostly when i first cast a spell with an effect like poison arrow or ice nova, there will be a second or so freeze and then it is ok, it just does it when i havent used the spell for short while.

if u say this is a game problem u know more than me, but as i see the PC working smoothly, i dont see how the answer that this is a game problem is appropriate, and whether or not it is a game problem still doesnt answer my question of,

can i reduce this lag like stutter by adjusting my graphics settings?

thanks

And dozens of "FPS Issue"

Yes, Most PC run it smooth, but some of them don't. Unfortunetly wine belongs to the slower minority... Also I've already done the research about this issue. On linux Nvidias, the stuttering can be avioded by setting GLSL disabled, but the game will crash more often, but on Mac OSX it seems it does not have same effect (thats why I've been asking santaclauze about his performance).

The situation can be fixed in wine, but it's more likely, that the GGG Devs will fix it a lot sooner. (we are talking about years (wine) to weeks (GGG) difference ;)

hey julius, sry to bring up this topic again. but i think you may have said wine is run in 32 bit and there are more issues with 32 bit. any way to run wine in 64 bit to help avoid some issues?

btw, thanks alot for the help and support with all these issues!
