[OSX] Unofficial Path of Exile port - 30/12/2018 status update

Me too see "received a packer that is too large to deserialise". Anybody can help ?

I get the same error "Received a packet that is too large to deserialise".

None of the fixes that were here previously mentioned work for me. I have tried everything but to no avail, please help!

Same as above. Might be the latest patch is just too big for wine to handle?

I think it may just be a bug with the wrapper. I downloaded the file from POE and downloaded wineskin and just made a wrapper myself and it is downloading the game now.

Yeah I just tried to figure this out. Seemed to go smoothly until I started the download, then got the "Bad Allocation" error that is discussed in other areas of the forums.

Since I have no idea what I am doing with WineSkin, hopefully someone can post a DIY on setting up the Wrapper correctly. Either that or The OP can tweak the original wrapper so v7 works again. Im about at the end of my knowledge on all of this...

Hi there,
I solved the problem by downloading this 7gb torrent (it's the upgrade of the game https://www.pathofexile.com/public/PoE-3.0.0-preseed.torrent). Once you extract this zip file you will have a new content.ggpk file. Just drag it and replace the old file. (You'll find this file in the Path of exile game folder). Hope it helps you :)
