[OSX] Unofficial Path of Exile port - 30/12/2018 status update
" Ok, nice to hear. So i just wait and only play when i don't want to do anything else on my comp;) |
|
" Uhm from what I know the V5 alpha 1 (now just V5) does not have the alt+tab issue and GGG fixed font flickering, so I guess it is ok to use it and do something else as well ? :) |
|
" Well i had the V5 Alpha2 installed and it had the alt tab issues for me as well as the fullscreen thing (which was no prob to solve). No flickering though. I download Alpha 1 now and check it out. |

Ok, the V5 (Alpha 1) solved the alt tab issue that V5 (Alpha2) had for me. So i can play now:) Lags and stutter are worse than in alpha 2 though. Ill try to play around with the settings. Cheers.

Hey, just installed this yesterday and it seemed to work fine. Today, however, it got stuck on the loading screen between Lionseye Watch and The Coast. I tried to put the computer to sleep but it turned off instead. Now when I try to open it I get a message saying that "Your pack file has become corrupted. Currently the only way to fix this is to delete Content.ggpk and download it again by running the client".
So do i have to delete everything? Or just one section? Can anybody help, please? |

Tried to open the wrapper, updated the whole thing then it just says "Failed resetting Direct3D device objects" and then force quits.
Help please |

Hi there,
I was just wondering - is it possible to choose which video card I'm running? How does it select? On my PC it doesn't allow me but it picks the right one. But on my Mac it seems like it's running the wrong card. Is there a way I can modify the wrapper to select the right one? It's using Intel(R) Ivy Bridge Mobile......... Mac Specs: Version 10.9 Retina, 15-inch Early 2013 Processor: 2.4 Ghz Intel Core i7 Memory: 8 GB 1600 Mhz DDR3 Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024MB -- Edit// I was able to get it to work by going to the battery settings and turning off the automatic switching of graphics to save energy. It's not using NVIDIA GT650M now. Last edited by Doubu#4217 on Mar 1, 2015, 11:44:38 AM

" you can also use gfxcardstatus , you can than switch GPU's on the fly (well, back to integrated as long as nothing is using nvidia, but it will tell you what is using it) |
