Ah. This corroborates highly with what I've been experiencing. Docks lags terribly because of voidbearers, Act 3 in general spikes erratically- and act 2 seemed fine.

Still, this is a step up from my Parallel's PoE. Managed to get to 48 nicely before seriously hitting a wall in the Docks (I've died at least 20 times due to framespike lags-- given up on levelling. Now I'll just run the other areas.

But where else to go, if not Docks? :(

Continuing on this issue, rather off-topic but I'll mention this nonetheless.

So I just did Docks with my new Summoner, under Bootcamp Win7. There are quite serious problems there too. Whenever I cast Summon Skeletons, some tiles on the terrain go all black (aka glitching). Then whenever Voidbearers were in sight my FPS instatnly dropped below 10, making progress very dangerous. For my summons, I used 4 Zombies, 5 Skeletons and 2 Spectres. No Spectres were Voidbearers.

Could be ATI/AMD driver issues, could be game issues, could be something else. I did install AMD Catalyst drivers (for HD 2000 Series) just before playing. Maybe I should get rid of them and see if Apple's Bootcamp drivers do better.

EDIT I just did a similar run under Wine. And guess what. No glitches/missing tiles, sligthly less choppy performance overall. I don't know what to say...

I know. AMD drivers sucks. They sucks really bad on OSX, they sucks really bad on Linux (making their drivers work correctly on gentoo was pain in the *** few years ago), they sucks really bad on Windows. Common, if you need the recent drivers to make Crysis 3 a 50% faster, then there is something bad in them from the begginning. It's sad because Radeon are maybe better then GeForce on the HW level, but the software is bringing it down. When I found out that AMD screwed OSX also, I began to regret I bought Macbook Pro with AMD in it. I am now waiting for the new MBP(r) with Haswell, and if they will have Nvidia in them, I am going to buy it.

BTW: in some rare scenarios Wine is even faster than Windows.
Fixed fonts, comming soon in 3.8 and 4.0.2 (probably sunday)

My thoughts exactly. Even the best of hardware can be awful with bad software, and it's not just computers, look what Sony is doing with its consumer electronics.

Maybe it is for the better that AAPL is moving away from ATI to Nvidia, currently the Mac Pro is (for time being) the only Mac with ATI as default GPU.

Btw, the font fix is looking great. Hoping to see it soon.

Edited typo.

Great work on the Client!

One question, when I try and check item level via hovering over an item and typing /itemlevel it says There is no item on the cursor. Anyway to fix this? Or is there another way to check itemlevels?

Thanks Medgno!

Somewhat offtopic, but you actually need to pick up the item and have it moving around along with your mouse cursor before typing /itemlevel.
