If your mousedriver/software does not support button mapping (and they will not be in the next updates) maybe try X-Mouse Button Control by Philip Gibbons.
It does support most hardware and let you map almost any key to your mouse and create configurations for different games/apps that load as you start them.

Given that 'release' is typically seen as 'Open Beta', then most likely after. We can anticipate a very long Open Beta period, in which GGG are free to add content, adjust the skill grid (and refund points as necessary) and generally accept that while the game isn't 'finished', it is finished enough to be publicly available and free to play, relying on its cosmetic microtransactions to stay afloat.

In that regard, I don't think Path of Exile ever needs to be 'released' officially, although I've heard that the advent of a distant act 4 will signify it.

Either way, I'd say the majority of skills yet to be implemented will come after the soft release, Open Beta.

My god, I love how you ramp up the randomization for all areas with this patch. Since I always found this game pretty much perfect, this was the only thing I could nitpick, and now it's finally fixed.
I'm really excited, that and the new skill tree are the only reasons for me to check out 0.9.12
