While I have never died to a triple shock instant death myself (have been close to almost insta-gibbed...)

I dislike situations where the player does not have a chance to do anything about their circumstances.

So I support some sort of change to shock.

I am terrified of all lightning damage in this game... :P As opposed to other elemental damage types or even chaos damage.

1st Piety Boss Fight at Crematorium, its not uncommon to see players dying, exactly as her ball lightning strikes fast and if one strike shocks the other strikes are likely to shock too, like you've explained.

making it 6 stacks of 20% would be cool. opens possibibility for unique gear/keystone to have effect of "shock is applied twice as fast" (or something along these lines to apply 2 shock stacks per crit)

This, changing the shocks to 25% for 5 stacks, and ScroteMCB's crit suggestion are the most reasonable suggestions. Personally I haven't died to instant triple shock stacks because I use tact to beat it. All you have to do is play hit and run with the shock mobs if there is enough of them clustered.


Personally if it were up to me ScroteMcB's suggestion of checking crits for each projectile fired would be the #1 best solution. Multi shocking from multiple enemies is something you should watch out for when it is about to happen not worry about it after; getting triple shocked by 1 attack seems stupidly over powered.

Please GGG don't implement more than 1 change to shock or the mechanics that affect it. If you do you will have so many people bitching.
