Yeap. Very happy to see that GGG recognizes that there are (to define it in broad terms) two major groups of players.

Two major groups? Is that why 80% of the players are on standard/anarchy?

Ever thought about that being the case because HC/Onslaught characters dropping to Standard and because of that the characters count as active Standard characters?

I don't think that lowering the penalty on exp is a good idea!

I recognize that many people claimed that the exp loss was too high.

It's up to them to improve! Changing the current system will lead to unintended consequences..

Player like you who not even have a supporter tag? Then I hope so, please GGG decrease death penalty to 0 and we get rid of such idiots!

Cruel: 5%
Merciless: 10%

I love the XP changes - it almost seems like too much. I remember dying about 15 times in a row one night, totally negating about 4 levels worth of progress (this happened to be the night the monsters had incorrect damage numbers - I didn't know, since it was right after .11, and I just kept playing anyway). It was ridiculous losing all that XP, and it's great knowing I won't have to worry quite as much. I'm sure high level SC players will be grateful to only have lost half of however much time they normally would, too.

The 6-socket change is a mistake, in my opinion. I watch for those like a hawk and still seldom get any, but allocating them will be super lame.
(2-3-2019) Buff underused skills (3.23?!)+ selfcast, stop nerfing defense, build in threshold jewels (3.23?!), implement D3-style looting, add death log + MTX preview, actually rework flasks, stop balancing around the .01%, unnerf Harvest, ADD NEW WAYS TO LEVEL, finally implement Loot 2.0

You whiny softcore players had better buy some microtransactions as gratitude.

Death penalty doesnt affect hc moron.

The 6 sockets allocation does though Pedro, which is what Standard players kept complaining about on top of all the other 10000 things they want to have nerfed.

create a group.
item allocation mode : free for all.

how does it affect you remind me ?

I dont like this change. I thought this game was for hardcore gamer, not for casuals.

LOL

unintended consequences. what are you ? kung fu panda ?

its up to ggg to improve their desynch and server lag, not the players to die from the same.

One thing I'm very confused about is why those so opposed to the lesser death penalty don't play hardcore

There's a huge difference between allowing a OP-ish, 'defenseless', mindless playstyle while removing all reason to take care, and the thrill and risk to really lose all your in a char invested time and have it removed from its 'natural' environment (aka stash and, even more mandatory, your mates from the hc league)...

Its called a 'game for hardcore-gamers' for a reason... and thats not only refering to the hc league: standard sets the standards... ^^
