I bet the same people making fun of your belt are the same people who thought that legacy soul taker was the best unique ever and was well balanced.
I think its a good unique because it actually makes people think and has strong interesting benefits that you can't get on any rare belt.

Laviangas is a unique mana flask.
The taming is the 4th berek's item I mentioned. Edit: and it too is a ring
