" Pfff, I'm not going to maps with anything less than +75 all res, my characters don't die from phys dmg, if they die it's from ele dmg. And my shards are mine, if you like that belt so much, farm it :P Anticipation slowly dissipates...

THIS ladies and gents is how you make a Diamond Unique. Took my very tanky build to a whole new level of tanky. And isn't just a "equip this, gain benefits" type of item... meaning the drawbacks and building around them are half the fun of this item. Thank you sir (or madam)......thank you. I read the last 2 pages, and i have to say to dlrr, no they are not the same guys complaining about Lightning coil, i was almost the only one complaining. People are different even if you think you just saw a similar behaviour.
That Belt would be perfect if it had Energy shield regen aswell. I think i might be going to use it to make my molten shell no life node no es ( maybe will do a CI this time ) build : http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/463266 With 600 life, i could recover from lightning hits ( the only elemental that i could not nullify easily) pretty quickly. I was using rejuv totem. It's perfect for AA, for keeping great % amount of my 'low' life build etc, however : yes Max res is very important. Until now, we don't have a unique who protect from elemental.. hmm maybe Rise of the phoenix a little bit ? ( +3% compared to saffel's ), yeah those +8% makes a huge difference. Maybe Divination Distillate ? With +6% all ele res for 0-5 sec(s). maps + ele dmg = maps difficult. maps + phys dmg = Vaal act 2 merc X2 X3 X4.. Anarchy/Onslaught T-Shirt Owner.

" Supposing one uses Saffel's frame, with maxed resistance, this item makes you sustaing 25% more elemental damage. As a trade of you get 40% more armor which may or may not (depending on the amount of physical damage you sustaing in single hit) give you more or less than 25% reduction to physical damage. On the other hand, you get no physical damage block, but 120% spell block. Interesting trade off, though -40% res is a pain in the ass. this belt obviously cannot be taken to temple piety with -max mod. this is suicide no matter how anyone would look at it
it trades for 3ex currently, i hope people will see the negatives mostly and sell it to me for some gcp i got my lightning coil for 6chance orbs.. so there is hope |
