Today was a good day. After more fusing orbs than I care to admit i finally crafted a 6L chest.
Funny thing is, I was really positive I would only get 5. So now I have this problem...
What to put in the 6th link?
Currently using LA > Wep ele > Faster attacks > LMP > life leech.
I saw petrov's post before Open Beta about possibly using +chaos dmg but I dont have that. Im currently trying lightning penetration but i dont really see much difference. Does anyone have any suggestions on what a sweet 6l lightning arrow setup should be?

P.S. it might not be the most gg ever, but i am damn proud of this b/c i crafted and farmed everything myself. No trading involved.
First up, massive kudos for crafting your own 6L. Have you ever crafted one before? I've had a couple, but never had the gonads to craft one myself. Well done!
As for the last link - a few options, some mentioned below.
- For MF'ing, clearly IIQ is the best option (or IIR if it has to be blue - but IIQ > IIR). With 5L you probably faceroll everything anyway, so the marginal killing speed of another dps gem < quantity gains from leveled IIQ gem,
- For DPS, + quality Culling Strike I really like - especially for boss killing - otherwise as mentioned above, quality Added Lighting Damage is always good (but expensive in terms of mana multiplier). If you can afford to craft a 6L, you can probably afford to buy a qual Lightning Dmg or Chaos Dmg gem too.

I'm loving Culling Strike. I lose 300 DPS on my elemental hit but I don't care because I can execute rares and bosses. It's nice in groups when you're killing General Gravicius for 5 minutes straight, then at 10% he just dies.

If you're running with a group of players overlevelled and overgeared compared to you, culling strike is a way anyone can add value and, also, steal flask recharges!:)

I would highly suggest chain especially for LA as it makes its aoe even more op (also life on hit goes through the roof). Culling strike is more for elemental hit and single target damage.
it depends on personal personal preferences , but id say tank is more used by ppl
thank you for the reply, i'd also like to know what type of bow goes well with this build? ele dmg bows or pure phy? judging from the weapon ele gem linked to LA, i think ele bows are preferred. Am i correct?
I'm sure it's been asked, but would it be possible to create a talent tree for every 10 or 20 levels so people can see what order you suggest they take skills in?
