Just curious as to why petrov left out static blows in the end game build. Anyone know? Not worth it in high level maps? Or just other points more important?


My passive tree right now at 86. At 90 I would get perfect aim I believe.

Hi there. It was a difficult decision, but in the groups I was playing in, static blows wasn't required to clear general mobs really really fast (when you play in a group of high level players in maps, you're basically clearing mobs as fast as you can run).

However, for bosses - where most of the difficult fights are and where the greatest risk is - static blows wasn't sufficient to apply shock to bosses (given the way shock works), so I dumped it.

Thanks for the answer. I used 75 regrets last night to respec into iron grip and what I thought was a more optimized build but I actually lost stats. Sucks to use 2 exalt worth of currency to lessen your character haha, just a tip for everyone else. Do your due diligence when crafting your end game tree... will save you some currency!

Did a little more tweaking, came up with this build. Not sure if I like missing static blows, seems like blue packs take longer to kill. While I do agree with you that yellows and uniques were rarely shock stacked or never at all, a large pack of blues drops really fast when all shocked. Especially now that I have thunderfists the shocks last a long time. Anyways look it over, if anyone can help me min/max that would be cool.

why would u spend 2 exalt to respect when a FREE FULL respect is in 4 days?
