With my lvl reduced mana gem 40% auras cost 30, but that's not helping :)

Never had problems with auras, mayby its changed.
Spell totem for some extra dps and survivability ( chilling ).
I use freezing pulse myself.

Can also use decoy totem or whatever u want :)

I would like to ask the same thing. Determination and Vitality are both 36~% mana pool and Hatred is 27~%. This leaves you with absolutely no mana to do anything. I like the idea but it simply won't work.

I can only afford 2 auras max, even with a fully-leveled (for my level, 56) reduced mana gem. That leaves me with a pool of about 80 mana, which means I can get 1 or 2 ground slams out. If it wasn't for a pair of gloves that granted mana on hit, I think I'd be totally useless.

The main problem is that I can't find a 5 link 2h mace, with phys damage, and a green socket for mana leech. I'm still trying to get currency so I can afford to play around with whites/blues. I am hoping that once mana leech is part of the equation, I can ground slam endlessly.

To some extent I regret following this build. I just wanted something reliable for my first character to help my other characters which would be more exploratory and based off my own ideas.

At my lvl 62 this build works fantastic. Problem is you need shitload of gear to make it work properly - like 2 5-linked, decent 2handed maces with 120%+ dmg and 15%+ attack speend since lvl 40 and so on.

What about the Auras? People seem to be having problems with that...should I be concerned? Additionally, what about dex!? I noticed the build called for Faster attacks which needs 109 dex at max level. That seems pretty steep...

Personally, I just don't use Vitaly now. I'm pretty sure i will able to get it when i'll take reduced mana cost nodes and will get more level for Reduced mana gem.
In his build he has more that enough dex nodes, no? Use onyx amulet, it you somehow have a 6link to use Faster Attacks. I was lucky to get unique belt with mana leech in my 30's, so with 20int20dex node at Mara start and onyx i can use faster attacks instead of mana leech on my 5link chest (although i don't level it - 25% works well enough).

It would be awesome to add some details as to which gems are better while leveling.AND which gems are more important to use if u have a 2L-3L-4L piece of armour.Thanks for your guide.
