[1.1] Davos Seaworth's Elemental Split Arrow Build - Solo every map with ease!

Things are going pretty well for me too, im runnin a variation on this build wich adds physical dmg to the mix, and also some leech from gear. Im running 3 auras - wrath and anger from my mana globe and clarity from my life globe. I had no struggle leveling up till i can use my gear and no problems after that. Ive soloed everything except for dominus merciless. Currently at 4.2k hp @ lvl 76 and planning to pick up some fat life nodes next. I lack 8 fire resist to get elemental capped wich is a shame but i found a dude to do duos with hatred+purity from him so thats fine. Im running around with a q20/20 added lightning dmg gem for the extra 10% shock chance wich get complemented by my thunderfist and my 10 % crit chance. My support skills are a skellie brotem with blind and BM and ele weakness with BM. Im considering swapping it for conductivity or enfeeble in higher lvl content. So far ive been able to tank myself (when i have to) content from up to lvl 69 maps. I was thinking about picking up more aura nodes and going for a 4th aura - grace - but it would seem that i'd drop to around 100 mana wich is way too little for me atm. The mana problem of my build is not completely gone so i adopted the stutter step from MOBAs. Usually i regain my full mana after i deplete it with split arrow in no more than 2 sec. I usually can spam frenzy with mana leech (eh...) all day long. My dps is 16k frenzy and 4.6 k split without any other auras than my original auras. I sincerely thank you for your build, it inspired me to twist things around the way i like them and its really nice. By the way ele reflect is no problem.

almost everything in the game seems to have elemental resists. i went from a soul taker blender build to this and i feel like i made the wrong decision. spent a lot of money on most of my gears (i know theres no proper chest piece, still work in progress) i only get 3k damage with both ele auras with split arrow, and 10k with frenzy, still with all the monster resists its just not working out properly for me.

I'm not an expert at all but I'm quite surprised you don't have yet Static Blows and the additional Chance to shock.
Especially while you have Stones I don't feel relevant to this build such as:
- Aspect of the Panther
- Weapon Artistry

Also Wisdom of the Glade should not be necessary.
All in all that's already 5 points to recover!

And now you just need to remove 4 more points in order to take Purity of Flesh and Static Blows with the additional Chance to shock.
Consequently, I'd remove the entire life nodes on the right side of the Duelist start.

I can only pull off about 6k DPS with Frenzy (with four charges). Approx 1.4k for Split Arrow.
Anyway, my issue isn't with damage. My problem is survivability. I've followed the build, I've got a decent life pool (2.3k-ish), 54% Physical Damage Reduction with Grace, capped resists (except Chaos), and yet I still somehow die on simple maps like Grotto, even when spamming my Split Arrow into large groups.
Strongly considering going back to my spectral thrower.

Eh, how do you die? I'm level 76 in Nemesis and doing 67-69 maps easy while tanking big groups of mobs.

If I knew, I wouldn't be posting here. Tired of dying and resetting my levels, so probably gonna go back to my other duelist.

there really isn't that many good ele bows currently on nemesis( or maybe i'm wrong) but wouldn't runing something like 300 ish dps phys bow, boost dps more? then pure elem bow?might be a silly question :)

All you need is attack speed (and love). Thats the main DPS generator if u are running hatred and wrath!

Little update on my self-found first character for this build:

Things have been progressing fairly smoothly. I've gotten to level 38 on day 2 of actual gameplay and I'm at the point where I'm just about to fight piety.

Sustain is pretty amazing when there's a ton of mobs, LGoH just lets you facetank them pretty much and the clear speeds are pretty good (for my first character)

I haven't gotten a life leech gem yet so single target bosses like Kole are pretty tough to facetank but it's not really a big deal as I've also leveled my traps alongside my main spells.

I've gotten a blood magic gem for my split arrow link and it seems to sustain itself fairly well so I run usually roll with 1 quicksilver, 2 hp, and 2 mp pots (Still in normal, but I only have 1k hp, so I'll probably swap to mostly HP pots after I get a blood magic gem for frenzy)

Haven't done the IIR or IIQ method yet but I'll probably have enough currency to obtain that stuff later when I'm actually farming.



DPS on frenzy is around 490 with 3 stacks. I'd say resolute technique made this build wayyy more consistent and less irritable to play when randomly missing mobs.

Overall, it's still pretty fun to play!

A simple question: why not Path of the Warrior?
