[1.1] Davos Seaworth's Elemental Split Arrow Build - Solo every map with ease!

I am sure this has been asked, but can this build be adjusted for more straight physical dmg?

Just found this:

So my plan is to 5L or 6L it and build around it :D

Thoughts?
Fraid not, as Ive said, or you follow to the letter or not at all, phys. bow requires whole other approach (like crit, str, iron grip ...), there are many good phys bow builds out there to follow.

There is option thou to use unique quiver for 50% fire damage transfered but it complicates things, you would most probably need 6L somewhere, there was question by me to OP few pages back about lionglare and that quiver ( isaw guy use it once), check few pages back ...

You should probably try to get around 250K dps tri ele thicket bow from poe, you should probably 5L it yourself, that's a problem.

Actually yes, a couple months ago someone who was a fan of my build decided to try to make it into a phys/ele hybrid using Lioneye's Glare and a perfect Blackgleam quiver. It does require a 6L and a ton of lightning damage on your rings and necklace, but it was insanely effective. His split arrow dps with chain was over 6k. He hardly changed the passives at all; only a few adjustments were made and the build followed the same basic path.

I imagine you will update the build when PoE gets released soon, but I'm just curious if you have any ideas of new things that may work from info released so far Davos. Like maybe, Split Arrow+Chain+Cast Lightning Arrow on Kill? I dunno.

Yeah, with all the +lightning dmg uniques that are options now, it is very possible. But i still think the new chaos-shocking bow is best for this build. It's insanely good.
Mess with the best, die like the rest.
This is a fun build. Just restarted after a Hiatus, drawn back in by the release announcement, and I am really liking your guide!
Hey There,

im struggling to increase my dmg, not sure what to upgrade next.. i know i need better rings and amulet. do i need a better bow or is this fine...

is it worth looking at getting lioneye or the new unique bow ?

greatly appreciate your time.

Your bow is adequate but weakish, now it has 184 dps, you have to improve quality at least man :) then it would have 196, let's say that best 3 ele thicket bows that you can buy are about 250 dps, 5L bow would cost around 3-5 EX, or at least it was on anarchy, I believe prices are similar. Still it would not give you massive advantages. But you would feel it for certain.

Your gear is fairly decent, some MF even ... worse part is mentioned bow and definitely gloves, which seem entirely random. Dat boots.. reduces att speed? Idk ...I wouldn't. Their bonuses seem or redundant or unnecessary. And it costs you MR/life bonus spot too.

Your never told us your stats btw. One more note, don't rely strictly on +% to ele damage, weapon. Flat ele damage is just as important, and it often gives even better dps. Check my gear, on end of previous page, as OPs gear in guide too.

@Senfoor
Why 4 of 5 of your items are with 0% quality?

I'd suggest to put on Wake of Destruction instead of Blood Dance boots it will give you a massive DPS boost
Buy a better gloves.. these are just... terrible...

Hi there,
I've checked the build and been using it during the weekend, so far, with a not so good 5L bow dropped sometimes ago, the progress seems to be smooth, no in act 3 cruel.

My quick question is, early game, why you choose to took 3 small HP nodes right of Duelist area, instead of the 3 bigger one next to it? Considering they all use 4 points, why choose that one? Because of +30str?

Btw, the build could skip taking the mana flows node if you can find a Silver Branch Bow. The +10 mana alone has a lot more impact / potential than the mana flow nodes, at least until the end of act 3 normal. Then if some upgrade is needed before you can reach Blood Magic, a few +mana on kill, or some mana leech with some hybrid flask is sustainable :)

PS. really, this build doesn't need that much slots. I even put Addition Accuracy on the 5th since I don't really needed extra damage from Added Lightning Damage or WED (yet) , it's possible to skip the Resolute Technique for quite a while. Though... a quality Added Lightning Damage is hard to be seen in the market.

PS2. Do you think I should chaos this bow to have some more elemental damage?

I do have some additional elemental damage on other equipments, but not quite sure about upgrading the bow when the time has come.
