I've got a Dual LW totem build as well. LW totem with Ele Prolif stacks shocks easily enough as is, throwing Arc Mines into it seems overkill.

Additionally, LW + Spell totem takes like 1.2+ seconds to cast without any extra cast speed, running Doedre's Tenure with that will leave you too vulnerable when casting to function.

Also, running across the tree for AB is a bit of a waste of time when everything you need for Arc Mines is in the top/top-right section of the tree. I guess you could do it later on though, I mean it's 10 points to get there from Static Blows (assuming you take the outside route of the tree) and you can grab the AR/ES cluster on the way (and probably some of the shield nodes too, the 12% spell block node is there).
Tried Arc/Mine for a bit before. Didn't like it. Raised spell damage thro' any means, so using those unique gloves a possible few other respecs would do it, but going by purely cast speed, self cast and totem (did dual totem before, didn't like the damage either) did much better damage. Too bad my exploding summons did more damage with hardly no passives for summons (exactly two). Just make them explode and burn everything and proliferate shock stacks.

Agreed, it's not 100% defensive nodes on the tree coupled with off-screen totems.

I would expect the tree to look something like this, then going across the top for Static Blows and/or dual curse.

Trap/Mine laying speed is immense. There are only two nodes that do it and at 15% faster laying speed each, can massively increase your damage. Shadow is a pretty good start for this build, though Witch's right side and possibly Templar's top side starts would be good as well.
