I think GMP is better for pure damage output, but LMP is much easier to get and is also much easier to sustain mana-wise. In most cases, unless you specifically are planning for it, I feel like GMP is not worth the increased mana cost.

I actually use Fork on my (non-quality) LS because I find it to be superior to LMP in situations that require AOE. The only problem with this (and it is the same problem that Chain will have) is if you're LS is quality, then it will see diminished functionality. A projectile can only pierce, fork, or chain on a hit, it cannot do more than one of these things. So with a good quality LS gem, my Fork will be passing straight through mobs doing nothing as often as it will be forking. Which is why I plan to run LMP as soon as I can get a quality LS. Shame the pierce passive skill is bow projectiles and not just any projectiles, this might be a good build to try to incorporate that node.

The whole point of the game is to find and play whatever works the best for you. Following build guidelines is a good way to get started, but it doesn't mean you can't use something that you prefer over something Inval recommends. My passive tree and the exact gems I end up using endgame will definitely be different than the ones on the first page; flavored to my tastes.

Kinda strange to have that low damage. I have that damage at level 64 and my gear is quite bad. What auras are you running? My only damage support gem on LS is Faster Attacks. I'm quite sure Increased Critical Damage would give you more DPS, but if course it costs 130% instead of 115% (Crit Strikes).

I didn't even realize you could use Reduced Mana on LS. My mind is set to use it only with auras, heh. Do you think Reduced mana is more efficient than Mana Leech? If I understood correctly, Mana Leech support gem leeches from every damage type. At least I'm able to spam LS indefinitely as long as I hit two or more targets with it.

Hey all. Awesome guide there! But i have a question. I noticed that IC has been nerfed by removing 50% energy bonus (well in my opinion they should make it 20% instead of removing it but w/e) i rly wanna know how does it work out now. is that huge difference so i better stay at health nodes or it just require "more skill" coz it rly was op before? (dont know anything about this game so far :p) thanks for answer. piece all
