[1.0.6] CI Crit Dagger Shadow (30k DPS Flicker Ninja) [OB video up!]

It's up to date.
if you have good gear you can DW through Normal, and Cruel if you're good. later on it would probably be too difficult (inb4 challenge accepted). You'd miss out on ES from the shield and ES is obviously highly important for CI builds

Just wana put in a suggestion..
Dont switch to full energie shield gear at around lvl 53
i cant take on mobs normaly at merciless that i could before i switchd out gear and fully socketed them right etc. have around 1.2k ES and 700 evasion but only around 50 armor..

reply if any1 had any luck doing what i did but didnt stumble on any problems, maybe something else is wrong :)

ps maybe add in to guide at around what lvls and energie shield + evasion that u can start neglecting armor fully Ds

ps again. couldnt do it on cruel even. 350ish armor again now seamd to do the trick tho. (have 800 ES instead of 1.1k and i got around 700 evasion

You need ~3.3k ES when you're wearing it all according to Invalesco. So I can see why you're having a hard time. It might be higher than 1150 since CI got nerfed.

How the heck do you keep up your mana in lower lvls?? I cant keep it up without using clarity :/

I have the one point i mind drinker and i pauma amulet...

Could use some tips for this :)

Hey, I've recently heard about not leveling up specific gems incase of stat requirements and mana cost.

Is there anything like that I should look out for?

Or is it generally safe if I level all my blue and green gems?

Also regarding the cruel and merciless dificulties for the bandit quest.

Do I simply help oak and kill the rest? Or do I help all of them?

And lastly, I'm still fairly confused on what other gems to use late game.

Afaik, these are the actives that are used - Flicker Strike, Double Strike, Lightning Strike and Whirling Blades. What about the other spells. Will I need to use viper strike or elemental hit at all or do I just not worry about them? Also what about auras and the likes, which should I take :o? What's a frenzy charge, do I need the frenzy support gem? How do I spam flicker strike, theres a cooldown :x

it's just stating that you need those values before going CI. not before starting to focuse on enegrie shield, right?
i figured it would be a good idea to start focusing on it to look more simuluar to the full end build gear wise etc. so its easier to see when u find a good upgrade and such..

I alsow justr found out about keeping gems on lower lvls. you should realy edit that in to the guide asap. since some of those gems are super expensive. Could you pls make a list on what gems should stay at for aprox level? :)

Theres 3 types of charges. frenzy increase your attack speed. Endurence charge incr physical resistance, and Power incr crit chance/damage (i think). then theres spells that work together with those charges. Incase of flicker you can use frenzy charges to use them up and bypass the cooldown (meaning there will be no cooldown on flicker).
theres where when you will finally use Bloodrage which generates frenzy charges, you will be able to spam it :)

Lmp stands for lesser multiple projectiles. And GCP stands for gemcutters prism (if you stumble up on that aswell :)).

alsow i think you change around from all mentiond spells to fit the ocation. im curently runing flicker/wirling blades. duable strike. Warlords curse. and for auras: Wrath, disciplin at the same time + at most times just recently experimenting on having grace active on at the same time aswell.. (used to use viper strike instead of grace, but couldnt fit in theat gem in sockets anymore.. viper is good for mobs like "the general" boss, whom got a heavy energie shield.

After having played D3 and being dissapointed -_- I am really enjoying Path of Exile.
Currently I am playing my 4 th shadow and on hardcore.
I was trying to look for a viable crit dagger build when I found your guides which were extremely helpful and well thought out. Props to you my friend!
I realized that my build was going towards your Evasion,HP,crit dagger build when I realized you also had a CI crit dagger build.
I really really liked your crit dagger build, however with the open beta and the change of the passive skill tree I was wondering if you thought the build would still be playable/viable in HC.
Kind of sad how they got rid of the 50% increase to ES shield on CI.
Your thoughts?

Great build btw! However you need to be ready to grind for gears if you're using this as your main character.
