[1.0.6] CI Crit Dagger Shadow (30k DPS Flicker Ninja) [OB video up!]
" Thanks for the info. What do you think about this alternative build for the Scion? IGN: DrunkBarbarian / SupernalScion Last edited by DeathTouch#6609 on Jan 26, 2014, 1:25:15 PM

" Well, you have VP so leech is instant. What's your DPS? Once again, I believe your feeling weak is due to your getting stunned very often. Try the Eye of Chayula for now till you get US. I would prefer faster attacks on DS tbh, but again it's a personal preference. " That tree you linked doesn't seem to work. What's your gear like? " That looks fine to me. However, it does look very much oriented around attack speed which won't be that effective for flicker. You might wanna consider investing more in %physical damage nodes. Build of the Week 14

" I like to use Lightning Strike as my primary attack and use Flicker Strike for rares and bosses. Then I use frenzy with Multistrike to quickly get back frenzy charges for Flicker. Anyways, I've never been much for plan building but I put your build and the one I thought up into a Skill Planner and this is what they look like side-by-side (with my current gear). What do you think?

" Yeah, defense is a bit low, but that's why it's Softcore. I'll adjust if I find maps hard to survive. A really high ES shield and armor should suffice. I'm using a near perfect Rainbowstride and Auxium so that also helps. IGN: DrunkBarbarian / SupernalScion

Hey,
I followed youre guide for quite a while now and I noticed that you respected out of the Arcane Focus / Deep Wisdom branch in the tree and instead focused on the ES-Wheel. I kinda had the feeling that it would be better to keep the Arcane Focus branch and instead spec out of some ES nodes in the wheel. Correct me if my math is wrong; If you take all the ES-Nodes in the Arcane Focus branch, you need 9 points (including getting there from your normal path). You end up with having 48% increased ES (40 pure and 8 from the Int buff), 20 increased Cooldown Recovery, 40 Intelligent and 40 Mana (20 pure, 20 from Int buff). The efficiency in terms of ES is slightly lower than in the wheel with 5.333 ES per point, yet you have 20 increased recovery speed and 40 more mana. If you drop the nodes with recovery speed and the additional 10% increased ES, you end up with 38% increased ES for 6 points, that being 6.333% increased ES per point, which is even more effective than in the wheel, not mentioning the additonal Mana you get from it. So am I totally mistaken or is it correct that speccing into the Arcane Focus is more efficient than in the wheel? Thanks and have fun! IGN: CeironRelic

" Heya, it wasn't about the point efficiency in this case - it was more about the maximum amount of ES that I could get. Recovery isn't as useful for a Ghost Reaver build. There's a maximum of 40% incr. ES (ignoring the bonus from int) at the deep wisdom area and 60% available at the ES circle. If mana is a factor, I can grab the Path of the Savant node underneath the circle as well. The circle at least offers more flexibility because it allows me to respec some points into DPS nodes if my ES gear is great, and vice versa if my ES gear isn't that great. That's something the deep wisdom area doesn't offer. Hope that helps! Build of the Week 14

Thanks, certainly helps. :)
Right now I've grabbed all the nodes I could get for ES, as my gear is not that great - which means that I specced in the wheel as well as in the Arcane Focus branch. I plan to respec out of it as soon as I got enough points (including the respecced ones) to get to the next dmg branch. Do you use Alpha's Howl or rather a high ES helmet and Dream Fragment if needed? I just feel that the ES sacrifice would be huge otherwise. IGN: CeironRelic

" Personally if given a choice, I would use a high ES helm with +accuracy, a high ES/attack speed ring and an Auxium's Build of the Week 14
