Ok as promise im here to release the tree
so here it is, there is a few changes when it comes to the build to the reguler hc that was before the 1.0 patch/release of PoE

Core items:
Eye of chayula

Dream Fragments

The Taiming (unique prismatic ring: dont have it yet)
http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/The_Taming

the reason for Eye of Chayula is so you dont get stunlocked and dream fragment is so you dont get frozen to death also specially on maps and The Taiming new unique ring is just for the HUGE dps boost it gives your aura hatred that is a must to run with shadow

Core Aura:
Hatred
Grace
Determination (if possible)

hatred so you can spamlock mobs in an AOE with your Lightning strike and grace for the armor boost you get from it.

The Treebuild
poe shadow CI crit 1.0 release
i want you all to know that this tree is for lvl 70 shadow you can go CI at lvl 65 but wont have that much dmg but doable
any question post them here and i will answer them :)

Actually, after seeing this, I'm even more confused. Why would you go for CI if you're speccing into Iron reflexes? Seems like just using pure EVA gear and going for a heavy life build would be better than CI.

I would appreciate some tips guys, I just respec into CI as I hit lvl 64, I have 2.5k ES overall ( pretty poor ES gear ), but i'm getting absolutely destroyed by all the mobs .. It's really frustrating.

run grace so you can take physical dmg

Has anyone tried this build extensively in PvP? Just curious how it fares against physical opponents. Lack of any armor + being in melee range seems scary. Sure, you have granite flasks but that still doesn't make up for no armor at all and eventually you will run out.

Just curious if anyone has tried it in a lot of FT5 matches and what kind of results were had.

yes i did and i destroyed every opponent, havent lost yet with that build tbh and i tweaked some items for PVP also

because IR gives you armor, and you are gonna need VP and if you go life-based you could but then you miss out on VP and no you dont go evasion gear, if you read the guide you will understand that most of your armor comes from grace and not gear, you put ES gear to gain a higher pool to play with then life but still it haves it drawbacks just like life

2.5K ES after CI is probably not enough... What auras do you run? I used to run hatred + discipline, but I recently swapped discipline for grace and I found I'm surviving better all the trash and blue mob... Always granite if you can't kill a pack quickly before they get to hit you.

Which brings to your DPS: if you kill things fast enough, you'll take less damage. I bring a diamond flask for when I'm against high damaging blue mob (like the void bearers in docks or the machine gunners in lunaris), so that I can take them down fast. If you need some more survivability, you can use enfeeble and a low level arctic armor (at around lv 7 you are almost immune to voidbearers in docks for example, and if you stay still you should be able to sustain it, just activate/deactivate when you need it).

Against magic damage, you'll want capped elemental resist, and you may want an eye of chayula and a dream fragment/alpha howl for stun and freeze immunity (really dangerous as CI)

On the other hand, I have a question: at the moment I only have a 4L for my lightning strike, and I have linked LMP-power charge on crit-item rarity (for farming). I have 3k DPS on tooltip with hatred, which increase with power charges (6 maximum). What DPS should I aim for on lightning strike?

you are gonna need a 5link, you cant run a LS with just a 4link when farming, you are gonna miss out on dps which is your key for survivability. if you want to run item rarity get a 5link and when i used to run 5link with maligaros etc with a good dagger i came up to 15k dps though i had a really good dagger

You can take CI early (I usually take it around level 45) only if you have really good ES gear. If not, you'll need to wait until you get to maps where you can farm/trade for the appropriate ES gear. So either respec out of it, or try to trade for some better gear.

Does anyone know what reward you should pick for the bandits in merciless following this build? I'm doubting between the power charge, the frenzy charge and the skill point... anyone has a thought on this?

normal skillpoint, cruel help oak for 16% phys dmg and merciless you can either choose to help alira/oak or take skillpoint, imo i rather take skillpoint

Yeah, I guessed the problem was my gear... But I'm level 77 after 3-4 months and haven't seen a drop that could sell for more than 1 GCP, so I' far from being able to buy a 5L chest with decent ES (using a 680 ES 4L now, total ES 3.8k with no discipline - pure ES gear except Alpha Howl), was hard enough to buy an Alpha Howl and an Eye of Chayula :( Playing solo or with a friend (summoner around lv63), and i'm stuck farming lunaris/piety and 66 maps, since I can't tank second form of dominus without dieing 3-4 times (not enough ES pool and damage for leech)... Is there some way to get enough to buy a 750ES 5L in less than a few months? :D Currently farming Piety, each run takes roughly 30 minutes for 6-7 alterations after vendoring all the trash rares... So I'm averaging at around 10-15 alterations per day...

On when to spec in CI, I specced in act2 merciless, around lv55... I feel that you can complete Act3 up until Piety with 3.5k ES without problem, as long as you don't try to tank mobs. You'll lose some clearing speed, since sometimes you'll have to kite, or pull back to recover ES, but it's doable.
