Dang, that would be very sick. Nice gear! the 6 link is crazy and I love the alpha helm and the maligaros. Ok I will give flicker + multi a shot. I think I will also take the power charge in a2 merci; 50% crit chance seems more efficient than 1 skill point in most cases. I'm currently in a2 merci and seem very safe for the time being. I can't really upgrade my gear at the moment unfortunately. This is my first open beta character and will have to grind it out and find some orbs / gear to trade. That's ok though I should be able to progress through merciless with my current setup and i've found some 66 maps as well =).

Im playing this build for weeks, and its so fun. I need to upgrade most of itens of my gear, but i have no currency, and this is getting hard. I really need better Headgear and ChestPiece.

You're not going to get currency drops. You can pray for a mirror (highly unlikely), but in the past year, I've only had 3 exalts drop for me. Only one in open beta. Chancing items used to be a good way to try and score a big item, but that's not likely anymore with 0.10.7.

Best you can do is grind docks (in a big party) and hope for a good unique drop (and it gets allocated to you or you can get lucky and nab it before someone else does). I got a 6 socket Carcass Jack last week, and today I've gotten a Rainbowstride, Lioneye's Paw, and Coward's Trial all from playing in a group. No drops playing solo.

You're not likely to find a great rare until maps, unless it's a belt or ring, but those drop so rarely as it is. If you can nab a low roll Andvarius or two and still survive docks you could grind there by yourself (It's tough unless you have high fire resistance). See if you can't get lucky and get a Shavronne's drop.

With the new changes to Act 3 Merc, grinding docks and Lunaris may be more beneficial. Theoretically you could get a Kaom's or Lionseye.

Maybe some of the older vets have a good strategy for getting currency, but other than running high level maps, that's the best I can offer.

Although the resists are good, that shield is lacking in ES

If you are over the area levels you get a currency drop penalty so the best way to get currency is to start a new char. Try my EK witch. It's CI too so you probably already have ES gear stashed away.

Amulet, then a helm and boots with more ES

Cleared Merciless Vaal last night, a bit easier than expected. I am always scared shitless about this fight and leveled all the way to 65 in fellshrine and western. I used warlords mark, Ls, and flicker on the ads, enfeeble during rock phase, and dps'd him with crit weakness and DS during ice, ad spawn, and rocks(no crit curse). On to act 3, slowly progressing through the quests and trying to buy a chayula because I'm tired of getting zerg'd and having to kite so hard.

I picked up the power charge from Alira, and grabbed the duration node for power charge. I also refunded the two smaller acc nodes since the pc nodes make the connection and I have quite a bit of acc on gear. I'm going to look to pick finish off a few of the dagger keystones and than head for vaal pact (most likely).

Currently running:

Ls - pc on crit - crit chance - faster attacks (54% crit chance with curse and charges)
Flicker - pc on crit - crit damage - melee full life
Double strike - faster - melee phys - item rarity (for yellow kills)
