[1.0.6] CI Crit Dagger Shadow (30k DPS Flicker Ninja) [OB video up!]

Really at my wits end here... Spent all my money crafting a dagger and ended up with crap (I think). Now I am constantly dying and having a hard time even leveling or farming lower level monsters. Any suggestions? Currently level 66 and` I am about ready to throw my hands up and give up here.

Yea you could use 20 blacksmith whetstones to give it 20% more dmg, that's about it.

Ahh you exalted it and got mana and mana regen. Not the most ideal mods, but certainly not dead stats either! It's still a solid dagger, and you're hitting that bump in the road where most real Shadow players are made or broken. My advise to you is to grind Ledge/Fellshrine for currency and items that will sell for currency until you can afford upgrades to your helmet. Despite your shield being low ES it is tri res and that's nice.

The gloves are fairly standard, and your boots while being very low on ES are still nice for the res and movement speed. Your amulet isn't bad either, and your rings could be better but they're decent for your level range. The belt, while being good in that it has dual res is lacking Weapon Elemental Damage and Strength, both of which are important on that slot.

Feel free to bounce over to my thread and check out the jewelry tab, there's a wide variety of Prism rings there that may serve as an upgrade to one if not both of those rings. I have kept a wide range but I know there's a few in there for CI Shadows.

The body armor is a bare bones 5-link ES chest, which for serving it's purpose of linking your LS with 4 gems is nice, it leaves much to be desired of in terms of extra mana, res and just overall ES.

All I can say is, I did with less at that level and to advise you to be patient in your approach, this build isn't going to be an easy one to gear up and you're in for another wall after you climb over your current situation when you try to gear yourself up for mapping around level 75.

Without seeing your play style or knowing your passive tree node for node, I feel that this is the best advise I can offer you from what I can understand, hope it helps.

Exalted that dagger twice by the way!^ LOL Worst part is I dropped a the third and final exalted into a lvl 32 crap dagger by accident. Thank you for your reply. I'm gonna go back to fellshire and start farming and leveling up there. I just hope at level 66 that I'm not too high to get decent orb drops.

I'm at about 4k ES with discipline on, but really still find myself dying (at city of sarn anyway). Considering using a skeleton totem if I can find the space for it. Not sure if I should pump more ES nodes or Dagger attack at this point.

Skelebros are as good a way to mitigate damage as anything, I feel your damage with that dagger should be sufficient so you'll want to get 4.5-6k ES where you can manage pieces of gear to upgrade or some nodes along the way.

When you say lower levels, what levels do you mean? Having added speed and mele dmg on LS makes a big difference. The more dps, the more leech.

If you were referring to adding melee physical dmg or melee damage on full life to LS I believe it's listed earlier here in the guide that they do not apply to the dps on lightning strike as it is counted as projectile. Speed however will work. LMP is also a really solid choice for green

got a question, what armor should i focus on this build on my 30-40s? i died yesterday on HC from the fire-breathing dog in docks XD

hey there, i am a lvl 73 shadow and been fallowing this guide all along, great work man :) now i would like to ask something; instead of faster attacks with double strike, i am using + crt dmg % 15. when i switched it with faster attacks its dps dropped a lil bit. is there any specific reason to stick with faster attacks ? if not i will use crt dmg till i find a quality faster attacks gem

PS: its like > DS - Melee Dmg - Melee Dmg on Full Life - Faster attacks/Increased Crt Dmg
