Since when did arpgs become merchant simulators?
idk what the deal is. I use my orbs to both buy things, and craft. A lot of time finding that right item is a right pain in the but. Its not fun spamming trade chat hoping that someone with an item similar to the one you want is even listening. Then you find said item and someone asks you for 6 gcp, and 6 chaos. Well. A lot of times I would rather use those 6 chaos to re roll an item in hopes for the upgrade I wanted, and still get to have my 6 gcp.
My point is.. You can do both. You can use your orbs to try to buy what you want, or you can gamble, and possibly get a better item than you set out for. Both methods are very viable. imo. |

All i know is using orbs is the best worst booster pack experience ever. AND I LOVE IT! It's not like alchs go for alot... so you can just be patient and collect some whites to make your item... because what are the odds that rare they trade you have good sockets as well as being rare?

Since when did arpgs become a crafting simulators?
Last time i checked you were supposed to get items by killing monsters in an arpg. Crafting is a nice addition to that, nothing more. IGN: Maelifica Last edited by Daxora#1391 on Jun 15, 2013, 12:57:03 PM

" inflating the amount of currency is a last resort lol edit: you are on to something in terms of more rolls allowing a person to make gear that can compete with the so called "cookie cutter requirements" right now... even still, every thread i read about loot mechanic changes always seems entirely about QQ'ing... I think the crafting system is unforgiving, and i wouldn't have it any other way (the D3 way). Last edited by maxyohax#2646 on Jun 15, 2013, 1:08:50 PM
