Please do not note things like discipline linked with increase crit damage on my shield, i just tried to correctly link my Double-Strike gem because i only use this one, i've put others on my gear randomly just for it to level up ;)

The problem is that i would like to have better ES gear but i just can't go to higher lvl map because i only get chain killed by mobs surrounding me so fast ...

i'll maybe consider buying some regrets orbs so that i can go back a bit and grab ES shield nodes in witch side as you said ... i don't know what to do ...

Hey mate,i m here to help.Is this your first character?I think your tree is fine.The fact that u r dying is clearly a quetion of gear,not the tree.I ve had the same problems as u,and even on higher levels because i played as self found,and died all the time,but i u want to level this successfully,u really need to start trading.Don't use regrets.The increased ES from the witch won't make a huge difference.Merciless is very difficult.U cant go through with it with blue items.Gather all your wealth and try to find decent upgrades.I d say keep your gloves,and your dagger is good for a blue one,u might wanna regal it,or just buy another one your call.U definetely need eye of chayula,otherwise u ll be getting stun locked all the time :/It is a shame u aren't on standar,i could have given u some decent upgrades.Unfortunately,from merciless and on the game becomes a gear check :/

It's my second character i made a ranger to lvl 55 but i'm really new to the game that's my first "real" character the ranger was more a test of the game :)

Ok so i'll just try to find some good gear, thanks a lot for all your advices, and so if i put a regal on my dagger it will keep the 110% increased physical damage ? (i spent a lot of alteration on it to get this ...)

Also when will my character be in standard league ? (i heard february ?)
And will i keep items in my stash when domination ends and my char is transfered to standard ?

I'm so mad that i've not made this char in standard league i even wonder if i should remake it in standard league because domination is not really good :(

Regal just adds stats to existing, can get something good, can get some crap. Regal is worth about 2 chaos I believe so it's up to you.

Leagues last for 4 months, so count it from the day PoE officially launched. Which would be october 23rd. So yeah, 23rd feb. You'll keep your items. ;)

You shouldn't, I actually wish it was other way around (now that I know games ropes), mostly because of new content, and especially since 50% of people are on dominition, 25% is on standard, and it'll just be more on dominition/nemesis vs standard/hc. Benefit? Well you can sell stuff at a higher margin, either because people are new to the game, there isn't as much stuff around, and there isn't as much "amazing" stuff. Also you're given kinda similar starting time, while people here at standard have way too much of a headstart for you, and top end gear costs obscenely.

Completely agree.You should stick to domination.Standard's a big dumpster,but i am not willing to start over.

Yo mate,thanks!Sure i can.One option is to keep the shadow tree exactly the same apart from the 5 first passives.I beleive,that it is slightly better to do it like this:



Ranger loses abit to shadow on the DPS(28% physical,8% attack speed)but it will definetely work.This is the end game tree.I cannot suggest a level 80 spesific tree,because it come down to gear.Of u got a dagger with high crit but lower damage,go for increased physicals,if it has good damage but low crit,go for the crits etc.

So you said you got your gear for under 15 ex, let's see how much my current gear costed. Even though it's worse... and gems are almost all non-Q.



For some reason can't see my current gear, so I had to stash 'em to show 'em.

Because Rainbowstrides are now at 8% Res and i'm playing on the Domination League where the old 20% Res ones don't exist (please correct me if i'm wrong) should i still buy them or is there something better to get?

Get them if you can find 'em cheaply, nice ES boost, mana and that spell block doesn't hurt, find 'em cheaply and have your resists maxed out. If not, just get some tri res boots with move speed. :)
